Kat
I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it!!! Less than 24 hours til media day and just over 50 hours til opening day The Earth is the proper name of a planet, and thus should always be capitalized.

Flight Deck'd
I'm so jealous of you guys. Have a good time, everyone. I'll be making it down for the first time this year in early June.
Gemini XL-200
Try taking three tests when your mind is focused on Banshee. Yep, that's how my day is. Gotta love coasters and how well they can distract you!
Diamondback FOF
That picture of the sign just made me so much more excited for Banshee. I hope the lights are on for the early morning rides tomorrow. This looks amazing. I believe Mr. Scheid sent out a Tweet (maybe a reply?) saying the lighting would be on.
LongTimeLurker
I know its been mentioned before but I have seen any estimates. How many people do you think will be there tomorrow? A thousand, a few thousand, or several thousand? Any guesses?
Diamondbacker
I'd estimate about 1,000 people being there. For tomorrow, I'll be wearing my black Banshee t-shirt over a black long-sleeve shirt.
APE
So far TPR has listed about 90 people attending plus the 50 or so from here. I have no idea what the other coaster groups have but there's a small sample size.
Gplez90
Any word yet if the ride will be able to operate in tomorrow mornings chilly temperatures? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
thedevariouseffect
I'm anticipating it running..I've had rides up and moving in similar if not worse conditions. However. different park and different ride, no two SOPs are the same. We will see, but I anticipate it running
silver2005
At least I have a band rehearsal to tie me over Thursday evening to get me through Wait-For-Banshee-itis. I'm hoping the forecast stays true for Friday as well, looks to be a gorgeous day!
XjoshhyX
I would think it will run regardless of the temperatures. You would need to test/run it under all circumstances to see how it will do. Ohio is a pain in the rear state of weather, so might as well.
davidw
If its the "start up" temp they are worried about, maybe they will just run it all night?
Thrill_Biscuit
Guess what's on the park's facebook!?!? The looks on their faces: Persons 1-3: "THIS IS AWESOME!" Don Helbig: "Eh, this is good but Racer's better." I think it's an "Oh yeah! This baby rocks!" expression. (...and, I don't know if it's the transformative effect of the G forces, wind, or sheer joy-of-riding, but somebody in this picture looks a little bit like Jimmy Kimmel... just a little bit...) Oldiesmann
So far TPR has listed about 90 people attending plus the 50 or so from here. I have no idea what the other coaster groups have but there's a small sample size. 218 people have RSVP'd to GOCC's Banshee Media Day event on Facebook. I don't know how many TPR folks are in that number or even if it includes anyone from TPR.

TheBeast1116
Anyone who goes tomorrow needs to take lots and lots of pictures all over the park. I miss seeing Kings Island in person! Hope you all have fun!
Wingless92
Will do! I will be blasting out on my twitter all day long. https://twitter.com/Wingless92 Should be a great time, looking forward to free food, Banshee, and friends. Plus, I'm getting paid tomorrow, woohoo!
Aaron88stang
Has there been any request by the park not to post anything during media day? I just don't want to break any rules
CoasterMyths79
Well, it is Media Day! That's what it is for! The only thing they have restricted in that category was to not take photos or videos while riding. EDIT: Banshee is testing as of right now, but my computer is acting up so I can't post a webcam pic.

Dane
Has there been any request by the park not to post anything during media day? I just don't want to break any rules You can post, photograph or film anything you see tomorrow. As long as its not a POV or anything taken on any rides. As a fair warning unfortunately as its already happened, there will be "elevated monitoring" for those individuals who try and shoot a POV photo or video. Those who try will be escorted out of the park with some paperwork. The park has also already recorded a nice HD POV of the ride that will be released tomorrow.
jdawg1998
I'm not even sure what the point in people shooting POVs is - many coasters already have perfectly fine POVs, and when you're the one riding it, why do you feel the need to video tape it? Just take pictures and videos...off ride...that's sufficient!
CoasterOhio
WOW! So it DOES glow! https://twitter.com/kigmgreg/status/456374005281198081 Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk I wonder if the fog effects are added or just coincidence. Fog effects are added, in the Night POV, the fog effects are there.

I'm glad that they are releasing a good HD POV from the park. I'm still trying to sell my niece on riding it.
