Highest score on Scooby Doo

What is the highest score anyone has had on Scooby Doo? I realize mine will pale in comparision but I had a 1200 yesterday. I would like to see what anyone has done on it.

Also, are all target the same value, 30 pts.?

I will also echo another posters sentiments. I wish they would make the laser beams visible. It would make it much nicer, IMO.

I got 2760, my brother got a whopping 3000. Gosh, he went crazy, I thought we were gonna get kicked out of the park. He was so loud.

I thinks visable lasers will help in it, also I think my gun shot up. Like at an angle out of the gun, not strait.

Yeah the line was pretty long this weekend i waited like 15 mins friday..Saturday i waited 25mins the line goes FAST! i cant wait til summer so i can go early in the morning and ride it all i want!..anyways my score was pretty high i dont remember much like i said i was in AWE over how well it turned out! cool.gif

How many of you with the high scores had it stop or slow for you....? Cause that does affect it when you just sit there and shoot for a long time... Although some did get like a 2000 somethin score today without it slowing at all.

-What do you all think of the ride part of scooby? Not the theming and stuff but just the ride...like it or not?

I personally liked it when i rode!

On my first trip through, I scored over 2900. I cheated, though; as the ride stopped to load/unload cameras..

I was able to keep hitting the same three targets, wait for them to reset, and hit them again. This is a beautifully presented ride, and would be entertaining even without the interactive feature!

On my last few rides, I was simply enjoying the scenery, and just hitting the Scooby Snacks. When you hit the Scooby Snacks, Scooby appears! That is something I missed on Media Day.

Speaking of Media Day, how cool was it of PKI to give those on-ride photos away?! I have two, and they are dated April 10, 2003. These are really top quality photos! Thanks, PKI!

Next time you guys ride, just take the time to look aroud a little. That is, of course, unless you ride someone very competitive....in that case kick their a@#!!

Yeah i love how if you hit a Scooby Snack Box Scooby appears i also the the loading station i like how they put the windows looking all creepy and how you can look outside and see the graveyardi noticed alot of Classic scooby villans aswell like The Creeper,Dracula,The Zombie,The werewolf, FrankenStains monster,and Of course the greatest Scooby Villan of all time the Greenghost i really enjoyed the ride itself i like way more than Delirium...i my score was low like 630 i dont care i will get a bigger better score next time!

I wonder how long it will be until they update the "Score Table" at the end of the ride. As it was opening day weekend, anything over 800 is off the charts. Perhaps the score ranges are that way for the younger riders.

I will admit, on this ride wheelchair riders are your best friends. Unfortuantely you can't see the exit ramp to judge when to board. The reason they are your firends isif you can get a lot of them to require loading/unloading during your ride, you will move through the attraction significantly slower, which allows you more time to score, and rescore the same targets, not to mention allows you to aim better.

So far I have had three trips: 810, 1110, and 1650. (1110 with two in the car, and 1650 with three in the car, but with one nice slow spell)

810 was my first ride, a solo ride, so I was getting used to how the weapon handles, not to mention trying to see the ride.

With that said, I guess not all the Sally Dark Rides operate on "Indiana Beach Rules" At Indiana Beach, once a target is hit, it is unavailable and does not reset until your car passes.

Another difference is I haven't found any high scoring bonus items in Scooby. On the Den of Lost Thieves (Indiana Beach) certain targets will spin around once hit to reveal a gold bag, you then have a very short time frame to hit the target on the gold bag, which causes it to spin back around. On DoLT regular targets are 10, and the gold bag bonuses are 50. I was expecting the Scooby Snack boxes to work the same way, and was surprised not to find a target on Scooby when he pops up.

I would not recommend light up lasersas that would be too distracting, and perhaps make it too easy. I WOULD like some type of sight or aim on the Fright Light.

I was thinking the same thing. People coming off the ride with scores of 300 and above, blows the 800 and above score out of the water. Wonder if there will ever be a competicion at SDATHC.

I thought the board at Carowinds went upwards of 1000 or even 1200+>? Maybe PKi can redo the board, and add a few more sections to it. They can make the last one read something like this: 1500+ = you are way to old to be riding this ride! LOL tongue.gif
