CP&LERR Fan
Either. Not a one word post... This is near the engine house heading back to rivertown station Which are where the fake tree stumps are where the anamtronics would plug in.

Look for Hugo Montenegro on iTunes. His version is the one that's well-known and I believe that's the same one used on the train as well. westcoaster
To expand the train would be nice, but greatness achieved to bring the story, the characters, back to the train:
HarvestmanMan
I wonder how many people consider the KI&MVRR a "ride" in the first place, as opposed to an "attraction".
The Interpreter
..or just as transportation to\from Soak City.
Adventuro
Well lets put it this way, was the train open for 17 years before Soak City, yes, is it part of the rides dept, yes, does it have a ride rating, yes, and will it be open tomorrow even though SC is closed. Yes. So there is no question, it's a ride.

Jr for Birdy
My wife and daughter had never rode the train at CP until recently and I hadn't rode it in several several years. We didn't ride it until right before we were leaving the park sadly. We loved it so much, it just blows KI train ride away! My daughter talks about going back to ride 'that train with the fire' all the time! Kings Island needs to step it up, it's not even in the ballpark with the CP train ride in our opinion.

Yes KI&MVRR is nothing compared to CP&LERR if they add anamatronic there it would be better and expand the railroad.
The Interpreter
I think you meant that the other way around... Got your caboose on the front of the train!
thedevariouseffect
Real coal fired engine > Propane and fake wood surrounding the tank Just my opinion
The Interpreter
Still better than real steam engine converted to diesel under EPA pressure (Six Flags Over Georgia)
RollerNut
Diesel burning or an actual diesel engine? A steam locomotive will burn anything we put it if the fire is hot enough. Source: I am a steam locomotive fireman for a railroad.
The Interpreter
Actual diesel. The boilers were reportedly removed. Local train buffs were incensed.
CP&LERR Fan
Real coal fired engine > Propane and fake wood surrounding the tank Just my opinion I prefer coal two, still it's considered A real steam engine and yea that wood surrounding the propane tanks looks so fake and you still can see the tanks with the wood blocking it. CP&LERR Fan
I don't know if people pay attention but at KI when the conductor gives the highball they actually say it and waving arm, at CP it's just a simple wave. One thing I also noticed at KI they use whistle signals before entering station they use one long one short, at CP there are no whistle codes except the highball, some engineers do use whistle codes at CP.
