fyrfyter Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 As long as this goes better than the last painting experience. I seem to remember some discussion about someone seeing the grey and the silver, and asking what the final color would be, only to find out that was the final color. D'oh! 3 Quote
XGatorHead 8904 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 And if thou breakest the Eleventh Commandment: NOW YOU WILL PAY! It's hard for those Gods to make anyone pay when their arms are non functioning or one armed in some cases. Plenty of "one-armed bandits" have made people pay over the years. I really want a water coaster after seeing the one on Intamin's website a few nights ago, Divertical. It just looks freaky and awesome at the same time I think a water coaster (as in, roller coaster-water coaster (Mack), not water slide-water coaster (Proslide)) would be perfect in Tower Gardens. It could be called "The Expedition" and utilize the waterfall structure for the lift and drop. It could also possibly go inside the waterfall at some point of the ride. I think you greatly over-estimate the size of the waterfall in Tower Gardens. 10 Quote
The Interpreter Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 It is bigger than a bread box.... 4 Quote

thedevariouseffect Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 I thought the orange would end up darker but still, great looks for a great ride. Man I'm glad to see a fresh coat on that thing! 6 Quote
fyrfyter Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 happened to be in the area & grabbed a pic today. That orange & hopefully jet black will look great! 11 Quote

ChainDog Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Can't wait to see this thing next to Banshee! It's going to look stunning! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
Nick_Plummer Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 This is going to be awesome! Can't wait to hop on it next year! Back seat's the best + fastest! I hope this makes the ride alot more popular. Last year me and my friend logan rode it 7 times in a row before having to get back in line where we rode it 4 more consecutive times with no one getting in line! 2 Quote
The Interpreter Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Nick, I have a question for you. If the back seat is the fastest, why doesn't it beat the front seat back? Terp, who likes to ask questions. 19 Quote

thedevariouseffect Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 The back isn't faster than the front...they both travel at the same speed :-) Quote
LoraX Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 I've tried to explain that to my daughter and she does not get it. She still insists the back is fastest. I blame new math or possibly new physics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 4 Quote
IndyGuy4KI Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 It depends if you want to be at top speed of the train coming out of the hill (front) or going down the hill (back). Personally, on The Bat, I like the feeling in the front of the train. Most other coasters I prefer to be going faster while going down the hill. (Ex: DB) 3 Quote
The Interpreter Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 The back isn't faster than the front...they both travel at the same speed :-) Shhhh! I was going to ask why Cedar Fair doesn't run two trains on Invertigo next! 13 Quote
thedevariouseffect Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 I didn't know you beat me to the punch...grr Quote

thedevariouseffect Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 I do like punch As long as someone unknown doesn't spike it Quote

I was going to ask why Cedar Fair doesn't run two trains on Invertigo next! Invertigo does fine with a single train. I do think Wicked Twister could benefit from two trains, though. In fact, I think the improvement would be smashing. 20 Quote

Buckeye Brad Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Nick, I have a question for you. If the back seat is the fastest, why doesn't it beat the front seat back? Terp, who likes to ask questions. That's not really a fair question...the front seat clearly has a big head start. ;^) 6 Quote

However with increased downtime likely from that they probaly just better off with the one train. Quote
thedevariouseffect Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Yeah I dont trust guests with that type of loading lol...forseeable e stops Quote
The Interpreter Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Chillier had dual stations with a sliding transfer track so two trains could each run on the same non-circuitous track, as do the Messrs Freeze. It worked (works) well. 4 Quote
