This has been discussed a lot in the Banshee construction thread but since it's off topic there, I figured I'd make a new thread about it. Delirium appears to be getting a paint job. The legs are now all blue, and the disc part appears to be getting painted orange. Here is what it looked like 1 week ago vs. now....

I think if Delirium is getting a new paint job, it will be a very subtle change. The colors of the ride have not changed on the park map, but i do believe they are repainting it.

New paint is almost always good.

Looks too much like Banshee's supports.

My thoughts as well, I'm wondering what's going on with Delirium

They are probaly just repainting it but with Banshee so close by I would think a color scheme change would be in the works.

2 things worth noting,

1. The second image looks quite a bit more vivid and that might be why the "disc" looks more orange like, none the less the bottom of the supports have been painted different for sure.

2. It makes me feel so excited to see a ride testing! Drop Tower is on the rise! (second picture)

If it was due to the vividness of the photo, wouldn't the rest of the yellow, previously matching, also look orange?

And there's yellow that matches the arms currently, which is in the same environment and lighting conditions as the oranged ring.

It's been looking orange for the past 2 days. I think they are painting it.

^ I hope not. I love Delirium. It was my go-to ride in 2013 to see what was going on with Banshee construction (it was cool to see stuff happening over there even upside down lol). I was so scared of that ride when it first opened, and one of my friends dragged me on it and now I love it. It's a great way to cool off on a hot summer's day!!

No haha nothing is happening in 2018. As of what I know. It's my name because I graduate in 2018 and Delirium is one of my favorite rides.

I just hope we aren't getting a MaXair paint job. I much liked ours the way it was except for the fading.

I do enjoy this paintjob more except one part, the top of the pendulum to me is odd. It fit the old Action Zone, but not the new one. Checkered boxes and bright colors do not fit next to Gothic and Mysterious lol.

Whatever they're doing I'm sure I'll be impressed, this year they've exceeded my expectations greatly, I couldn't have asked for a better 2014 out of them..Well..

They could make that impulse woodie with timberliners ending with a 450 foot tophat finale

But exactly they could surprise us, there's been enough of that already, I mean being honest all they had to do was build a coaster like they said they were going to do late in the season in 2013. However, did they do so much more than that, oh of course, and there's probably a few big things we still have yet to know about. One week man!

I just think it is super cool that it seems to be getting painted. I didn't think it fit quite right with the color of Banshee but sure wasn't expecting them to paint it. They are really going all out for this roller coaster. They have painted/are painting most of the attractions in Action Zone

It has been reported that Kings Island did fix the parking lot and upgraded the marque sign and front gate. What more could they do?

It still looks a bit orange but I don't think they are painting it after all.... I haven't seen any crews over there today, and someone in Banshee Construction Progress said it was testing earlier, so if they were painting it they'd probably finish that first. I think the orange appearance is merely a reflection of the red tarps covering the queue line. We will find out in 6 days for those of us going to media day, and 7 days for those going to opening day.

How could a reflection of the red tarps hit the Delirium right there?

I would like to see the arm orange, I think it would add more to the theme of Action Zone's east side, Haunted Hill.
