MantisMan
It's nice on crowded days when they have a ride op asking how many riders are in each group and only letting a certain amount of people into the station. I agree, that is nice, when done correctly. Too many times I've witnessed Banshee dispatched with partially loaded trains all due to the fact the attendant did not fill the station in a timely manner. Now THAT, really grinds my gears!
Creed Bratton
I'm fine with the station not being extremely full but I'm not fine with one train wait waiting to board. Most stations *note I said most* can hold at least 2 train waits.
medford
On Monday, while riding the Blue Racer, there was a (presumed) teenager a couple of cars up that had a stuffed Snoopy and proceeded to hold up in the air from somewhere around the top of the lift hill (I was watching Firehawk on the ascent, so I'm not sure if they put it up while on the lift hill or not) until the end of the ride. While I doubt a small stuffed animal would have done anyone great harm if he had lost control and it came flying back and hit somebody, I can't say that with 100% confidence and am glad I didn't find out. None the less, I was really hoping there was some form of security there to escort this kid out of the park when we got back in the station. There was no such thing and the kid was off the ride and down the ramp fairly quickly.
The Interpreter
At Six Flags New England, I saw three patrons escorted from the park. For smoking in a non-smoking designated area. For real.
Gplez90
I saw the same thing multiple times in one day. SFNE doesn't mess around! I love SFNE, i think it's actually one of the better overall parks in the chain. Really friendly staff, decent coasters, easy to get around and its really clean. As for my pet peeve, have you ever seen someone litter 10 feet away from a trash can? Come on now, have some class... Thrill_Biscuit
...or they try to throw something into the trash can from halfway across the midway, miss, and just walk on like nothing happened. No respect. None.
LoraX
I have a picture somewhere of a boy maybe 12 years old sitting next to a woman who appeared to be his mom on a bench that had a trash can sitting beside it. The boy was throwing trash on the ground and the mom didn't say a word. People are extremely disrespectful.
emileeee
Or if a trash can is completely full (doesn't happen very often at KI) yet someone just adds to the growing Jenga tower of trash, further adding to the impending doom of the tower toppling, liquid cheese and ketchup splattering, just to bake in the sun and develop that awful "hot trash" smell we all know and love. It annoys me. Walk 20 feet and throw it away in the next available receptacle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

BoddaH1994
My biggest KI pet peeve is when some parents' kids are so out of control that they kick me in the face in The Beast station. Right, Lora?

Some might argue that you deserved it. You took a kick in the face like a man. I am disappointed in her. I thought she had more willpower to say no. I never dreamed she would say yes.
CharleyTheDinosaur
Just in The Beast station? So you're ok with getting kicked in the face everywhere else? And how many times has this happened that it's a pet peeve? So many questions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LoraX
I am willing to let my out of control teen try it elsewhere in the park.
Thrill_Biscuit
1. I remember a trip to Niagara Falls when I was 9, and there were trash cans ("dust bins," I was on the Canadanian side, eh) that had façades painted to look like animals with their mouths opened. I guess it was thought that kids would find it more fun to 'pitch in' if throwing away litter was like feeding these "animals." Where is such genius these days, eh? 2. Was it a flying round-house kick, or just your garden variety, forward toe-to-the-temple shock move? (EDIT- ...because, you know, the latter would tend to indicate a measure of self-control... )
LoraX
It was actually caught on video by OhioColts. I am shocked he did not object to this. He abides by strict rules. We are corrupting him.

CharleyTheDinosaur
Ok after seeing that video, getting kicked in the face at The Beast is now my #2 pet peeve right behind seeing people smoking outside designated areas. Nothing will ever beat that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thrill_Biscuit
Yes, and I'm having an absolute blast with various 'Chuck Norris' sound effects while watching the video again... priceless!
LoraX
Can you put the sound effects and music to it? That would truly be awesome.

Steph88
As others have said before, line jumpers who want to move ahead to meet with their "group". They need to go to the back and wait the same amount of time everyone else has to, and/or make sure their group all enters the line together at the same time. Unsecured cell phones on rides.  People arguing with ride ops.  However, most of the time in parks I'm in kind of this "happy bubble" where I don't notice a LOT of the pet peeves I normally have (people walking slow, etc.). Normally toward the end of the day when I'm tired I notice it more.

IndyGuy4KI
I have dropped back in line several times to meet up with a group. If you really want to be with your group you should do the right thing.

The Interpreter
As a friend of mine would say, "Does it matter?" Line jumping is line jumping. And it's wrong. No matter why. Unless you pay for it. Then it's Fast Lane.
