More details to come, but an exclusive opportunity for KIC members to enjoy a lights on tour of three of the park's Halloween Haunt mazes will be available Saturday, November 1.

Thanks for the info Don! We appreciate all these benefits that the park has given us this year!

Cool! Now I have to decide whether to drive home that night and then back the next morning for closing day, or just get a hotel room for the night. I may just get a room at the Microtel over by The Beach, if I have the money.

Awesome! Thanks Don and Boddah and Dane (and whoever else) for putting this together!

Wow! This already sounds like a lot of fun!

I am now considering coming to the park on both Saturday and Sunday, instead of just Sunday.

Thanks Don! I will definitely be there for what will be an amazing end to a record year for Kings Island!

Thanks a lot, Wright-Patt Credit Union. I just went to book a room at the Microtel, since they're already running out of rooms for that night, and I got to the end of the reservation process only to remember that WPCU is going to issue me a new credit card with a new number soon, and deactivate my current one on October 22—which is before the night I'm staying. So I can't use that card to reserve the room because I don't know if I can change the card on the reservation later, which means I have to debate between using my Capital One card that has triple the interest rate (and which I only keep for emergencies), or waiting until the new WPCU card arrives and hoping that they don't run out of rooms before then. *grrrrrrrr*

^ Any hotel should let you change the card details on a reservation.

If you have questions, call their reservations number. Just make sure to call (again) after you get your new card.

Sounds cool. I've never actually been through a maze. It's not really my thing. I would still like to see the operation and work that goes into it though. Hey can we get a few of the actors try to scare the group with the lights on? That'd be hilariously awkward.

^^ I went ahead and booked it with my Capital One card. They didn't require a deposit to be paid now, so I'll try to pay at check-in with the new WPCU card when it arrives, if they'll let me (I don't see why they wouldn't).

The card used to hold a hotel room doesn't have to be used as payment, unless you are a no-show or a deposit is required.

Just present the card you want to use at check-in.

Lights-on are the only way I will go through Haunt! I went through the two tours last year and enjoyed it. The gentleman running the Wolf Pack tour was great and answered questions and pointed out cool tricks. For Madame Toussand's (I think that is the name?), we were rushed through quickly but still neat to see. I would totally recommend it.

And jcgoble3 - they'll let you reserve under one card and charge with another. We've had to do it for work and they don't ever care. Just be clear at check-in which card to charge. Also, if you use a debit card for payment, hotels can and do freeze funds that can be released up to 2 weeks later.

It's Madame Fatale's Cavern of Terror. Not sure where "Toussand's" came from. :)

It's a proper credit card. And yes, I've reserved on one card and paid a different way (even with cash) before. I just haven't done so at this specific hotel before.

Haha. Oh that is funny. Thanks! Can I blame it on being a spaz and thinking of this (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/travel_news/article-2736835/Finally-I-photobomb-Benedict-Cumberbatch-puts-final-touches-Madame-Tussauds-waxwork.html) and the wax figures in the maze?

And yeah, I figured. :) I just spend way more time in hotels than any normal person should.

Thanks Don. Will there be photo/video allowed during the lights on tours? If not that's okay too I'm just wondering?

Sounds interesting! I think the only way you could get me into one of the mazes is if the lights are on.

Looking forward to this. Really hoping I'll b able to make it. Thanks Don and anyone else involved in getting this set up.

Marked and dated.

Thanks for the opportunity!

(Just remember kiddos: This is a privilege, not a right for us to be able to participate. )

Dumb question. Can I bring my wife and kiddo to this? DO I need to sign my wife up (on KIC) for this? We may not bring the kiddo. But we might who knows.

Wowsers! That's Cool ! I remember CornStalkers from years ago and I've always wanted to see what it looked like during the daytime.

They'll only be doing three of all the Haunt attractions though so don't count on CornStalkers being one of them

Yeah, at this time I don't even know what they'll be. He said three specifically, so I assume he has a plan.

Not a fan of haunted houses, but a lighted tour sounds awesome, Thank you Don! Cannot wait for this event.
