With track work now complete, the Orion construction live-stream camera will be shut down beginning this evening (Feb. 6) through the end of March.

Be sure to check out Kings Island's official Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube channels to watch new time-lapse footage of Orion being constructed tonight at 7 p.m. 

Can't wait to see the area when it's complete.

We kind of knew that we'd lose the cam at some point, especially with testing somewhere on the horizon.

With this being its own thread, it'll be pretty easy to reference when that "conspiracy" talks kicks back in.  

Tbh I would love them to move the cam back to Banshee because I love looking at Action Zone out into Kings Mills from that webcam. That's just my opinion. 

They shut down the cams for DB and Banshee during testing as well.  The last thing on earth they'd want is footage of it not making the circuit. This does, however, mean that testing is on the horizon.  That's kind of exciting in itself!

This also means the theming of Area 72 will remain a surprise until media day hopefully.

To alleviate any confusion:

Testing is not going to happen any time in the very near future. There’s still a lot that needs to be done and it needs to be warmer. I didn’t mean to imply that it was sooner than it is. I meant that it will be here before you know it... just not until at least March.
