IndyGuy4KI
Chad wrote a KIBlog post about a Kings Island love story. Do you have a love story to tell about your Valentine this year? https://www.visitkingsisland.com/blog/2020/february/a-valentines-day-story-from-kings-island?fbclid=IwAR1nKok5Z0vV7Du09PfDebAbXcd2zUjkz8S1Aa8FEHH3SySePn9d8A0QvJI
Hawaiian Coasters 325
Not me. I'm single, but I'm working at Kings Island this year. So you never know who you'll meet.
gforce1994
No, so still repping those single rider line benefits at Winterfest!
CoastersRZ
I actually met my current wife through a mutual friend. They both worked at Kings Island together. Now we have been married going on 5 years this April. Our wedding day was April 18th, 2015, which was KI opening day that year. I might have made a quick visit in the morning that day to grab a quick ride on The Beast before getting ready for the ceremony.
BoddaH1994
Met my girlfriend at KI during Haunt 2018. Asked her to be official at Winterfest this past year. I met her through some friends the past October. We reconnected this past summer. Hung out at KI a lot over the summer. I asked her to be official at Winterfest on Dec 8th.
thatbandguy8807
My wife and I both worked in Action Zone back in 2011. I worked on Express while she worked at Skyflyer. During what the park calls "fun week" (the week where they go full operation but school is still in session) she would be sent to my ride. We got to know each other while talking in the mornings before the park opened. At one point I had a feeling of "I'm gonna meet this girl's mother and I'm not sure why yet". Shortly after she asked me out on our first date to hang out at the park after we both got off work that day. Soon after we became official during a rides night for the employees on June 23,2011. A few years later we ended up getting married in July of 2015. I never wanted to go back to Kings Island to work that year but felt like I was being drawn back for some reason. Now I know that reason lol. I even remember during my first year orientation that one speaker said "you never know, you may meet your special someone while working here at the park". I thought to myself "yeah that's never going to happen". Glad I was wrong. That definitely was the best year I had working at Kings Island. Seeker441
I did not meet my amazing girl friend at KI but we are both crazy coaster lovers and we know travel the US/Canada for the thrill of coasters. It is crazy how you can imagine that something you have done most of your life you get to relive that experience with someone you care so deeply about and see those crazy looking photos at the end of each ride. Getting to share that is something I know I will always cherish forever.
Snowball
I met my girlfriend in 2017 at KI. We were both working in KillMart and started dating in the summer of 2018. KI definitely holds a special place to both of us.
