FUN&ONLY! Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 I don’t get why trampoline parks where kids are literally bouncing off the walls and jumping in foam pits can reopen while amusement parks can’t. From my view, it would be much easier to keep an amusement park sanitary than a trampoline park. 4 Quote

The thing is, there is nothing I can think of that is not allowed at some point to reopen now, so the parks are going to get a lot more attention as to why they are still closed I would have to think. 1 Quote

disco2000 Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 I guess Cedar Fair reps will not be asked to any future Governor Task Force or get any favors now for supporting a bill that undermined the Governor's authority... 2 Quote

I know they're in two very different states but I mean, come on. There's barely going to be a summer season. I wonder what projects CF is cancelling/putting on hold because of this. 1 Quote

Probably why the parks made a public statement, heck at this point I'D pitch in to sue the freaking state. 1 Quote

What's the difference if your limiting capacity etc? Plexiglas between machines etc. It's just weird, considering surrounding states parks etc. edit to add: I'm not a gambler lol I just work at one and want to go back to work LOLOL Quote

CoasterFan3180 Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 I don't understand the decision to exclude parks from the reopening list either. Personally, I'd be more worried about catching COVID at a movie theater or a laser tag facility than at an outdoor amusement park. 2 Quote

I am sure if it were an in-person press conference he would have said that his announcement for amusement parks is they are not given the green light yet. His next conference should be interesting... 1 Quote
