Now we are getting into the heart of Winter, lets have another Photo Contest with a Twist!

"Kings Island Without A Ride Photo Contest"

Post your best Kings Island photo inside the park that does not have a ride in the picture or background (including the Eiffel Tower.) 

 

Rules:

1. Only 1 picture per post. (If there is more than one, the whole post will be removed.)
2. Any photo with a ride in the pic will be disqualified from winning and a note will be added as such by admin.
3. A max of 4 submissions. (Any additional submissions will be removed.)
4. All photos must be your own. (No pictures from websites or any other sources.)
5. All photos must abide by the Terms of Service and all park rules (for example, any pictures taken as a result of trespassing or any that are taken on rides that prohibit photography/loose articles will not be acceptable and will be removed and possible loss of posting privileges.)
6. To make it more fair, please do not post pictures from areas that only employees can get too. (Tour locations from Coasterstock are fine.)
7. Some unique and creative edits on pictures are fine.
8. Double posting will be excused in this thread.
9. Only Likes will be counted, not any other emotion.
10. The most important rule: HAVE FUN!

 

The contest will be judged by the members. So if you love a submission, vote for it with a like. You can vote on as many as you want. This will run until February 28th.

 

An example is this photo of the Beast 40th anniversary photo booth. No actual ride is in the photo, and taken in the park.

The winner will get to order a free KIC shirt as their prize along with bragging rights!

Edit to add location: I took this picture by The Bat a couple years ago. This little guy popped out of a hole under the walkway near the station and was very curious about my phone camera.

I don't know if this counts, but this is a picture of me with my girl in the Festhaus at Kings Island.

I always make a trip up the tower on every visit...usually right before we leave...it’s always a nice farewell to the park. On this particular day the sun was beginning to set and casting long shadows, I particularly think the shadow of the mom and her kids holding hands turned out nice.

Wish this jacket came in adult sizes.....walking down the Coney Island midway after buying her this jacket.  

This was a picture of some of worn out high schoolers I was chaperoning. I think they were recovering from Mystic Timbers on the way to The Beast.

Gotta love the Kings Island Smurf Berry ice cream merchandise. 

I always love Halloween Haunt! 

 

As I mentioned earlier, I always enjoy going up the tower...I especially enjoy it at night when you have the platform all to yourself...it is so peaceful looking out at all of the lights...and a nice gentle breeze makes it even better! 

 

 

So many to choose from.  I'll start with this!

Winterfest '17

Last photo submission:

Taken while walking through Dinosaurs Alive in 2017. It's interesting that there aren't a ton of places in the park that aren't secluded like this any more. The only ones I can think of are The Bat's exit and some parts of White Water Canyon's walkway.
