PKI Punk Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 I know many of you thought PKI would get the first one, but it looks like Carowind's will be getting Miss Puff's Boating School next year. Check out this pic from Screamscape. http://www.screamscape.com/html/pc_-_2005_1.html It sure looks like little boats to me. Quote
Pirate of PKI Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 I said awhile ago that I didn't think PKI would get it, but now it sounds like a pretty good idea. Quote
Ryan Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 Actually, I believe there is some sort of Spongebob Boatmobiles attraction that's in place at other Paramount Parks, that could also just be that, as I think the Boating School was set in an indoor themed environment. Whichever it is, those little boats are awesome, lol. Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 That looks like that ride will be really popular when it gets done. I wouldn't mind if PKI got one of those. Quote
CoastersRZ Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 I would imagine that those boats are for a small boat flat ride, similar to the Huck`s Hot Rod`s at PKI, which are manufactured by Hampton. If it is what I am thinking about, the boats are attached to a center pole, and float in a circular moat of water and spin in circles just like the car ride by Hampton. I believe that Stricker`s Grove has a boat ride like this. Quote
ZosoBeast Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 Kind off hard to tell from the picture just how big those boats are. If I had to guess, I would go along with 'coastersrz' and just say these are from a small kiddy ride kinda like the one pictured here from Strickers Grove: Anybody else get teary eyed when they seen the pics of them installing the eagles? flightoffear1996 Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 Yea that would be guess and those kids look real thrilled to be riding that too! Quote
Scooby_Doo Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 Umm Mrs.Puff's Boating school is a indoor coaster/Dark Ride this doesnt look like the boats that were metioned in the survey. Quote

flightoffear1996 Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 I thought it would be a indoor and outdoor water coaster. Quote
RevengeofTheSmurfs Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 I wouldn't mind PKI adding the spongebob dark/ coaster ride yes it was a dark ride in the concept art and the way they described it.I also wouldnt mind to see the addams family at the park. Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 I really doubt that PKI get the Adams family coaster at least not for awhile. I still think PKI has a flier on the drawing board for one of the next 3 years. Quote

King Bowser Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 I hope we get that addams family ride someday it was to great of a concept to pass up PKI needs a dark ride /Coaster for thrill seekers dont get me wrong SDATHC is great but I would like to see something a little more spooky & themed to the max.I think Carowinds is getting Spongebob's Boatmoblies not spongebob's crash course boating school!
