Dollywood’s Kingdom Heirs not to do a residency at the park for the 2025 season

They’ll be there other times of the season, but this is the first time in the park’s 40-year history that they won’t be there for the summer.

“FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Kingdom Heirs
February 6th, 2025
Pigeon Forge, TN

Hello everyone from The Kingdom Heirs.  We are currently in the middle of our winter tour and enjoying every mile.  We also hope everyone is making it through the winter safe and healthy.

As most of you know, our travel time is limited due to our busy Dollywood schedule, which will begin March 14th as we sing our way into another exciting season at the park.  When the season starts, we will proudly celebrate 40 consecutive years at the park.  Dollywood will also celebrate that same milestone with other shows and attractions throughout the summer.

For more than 4 decades The Kingdom Heirs have been committed to the unique opportunity in which Dollywood has afforded us for so many years.  Those opportunities are too many to list and we have been blessed.  We have cultivated many wonderful relationships with those who visit the park on a regular basis and have purchased season passes for the sole purpose of attending our shows throughout the year.  That number will never be known but we can assure you that it’s tremendous.  Thank you for the support, love, and dedication over the years and more years to come.  Also, thank you to Dollywood and management for the mutual commitment since 1986 and counting.

Having said that, the summer of 2025 will be different than any summer we’ve had in over 40 years.  We will not be a part of Dollywood’s summer lineup of shows beginning June 9th through August 5th.  This decision involved many people and I’m sure it was a tough one given our long standing position at Dollywood.  We also realize it’s only a brief period during a long season.  We ask you to not hesitate to make plans to attend the park and purchase your season passes.  The months that we are performing will be incredible and plentiful.

Now on to our exciting summer plans.  We are using this absence from the park to do something we haven’t done since our residency at Dollywood began in 1986…a limited summer tour.  Beginning June 12th and continuing through the summer, we will be coming to you.  Our travels will be taking us to places we’ve been unable to visit due to our limited time away from the park in the winter.   We are heading north, south, east, and west.  We will continue to share this wonderful music wherever God leads.  It’s going to be a busy summer and we hope you will be joining us somewhere along the way.

As we continue to add appearances to our calendar over the very near future, you will be the first to know…and by the way, Blue Gate Theater in Shipshawana, Indiana, we’re coming to you July 8th.  Cincinnati, Ohio, we’re headed your way in June…twice!  Jackson, Tennessee, get ready, we’ll be there for “Jackson Sings the Gospel” on July 12th.  Bradley-Bourbonnais, Illinois, it’s been a while so let the snow melt, we’ll be there in June.  The Carolina’s, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama and more…be watching!

So everyone please stay tuned for more details as we will keep you up to date, on our dates.  We realize this news is certainly unexpected and possibly disappointing to many, but we are taking advantage of the situation.  We feel very close and committed to those who have loved and supported The Kingdom Heirs in all our years of ministry.  We believe you deserve as much information as we can share at this time.

Thanks again, and our Dollywood schedule will be posted as usual once we have confirmed days and show times.  We certainly hope you will join us on our travels and also at the park to help us celebrate 40 years as the longest running show at Dollywood.

Thank you and God Bless!
