jcoop22 Posted April 12, 2025 Posted April 12, 2025 Photo found online from last year. From the camera this morning. 1 Quote
BeeastFarmer Posted April 12, 2025 Posted April 12, 2025 They were purposely removed from the ride at the command of the communication team to purposely fit the image that Six Flags does not communicate well, even if it is faded and irrelevant theming from a twenty year old junkyard coaster. As such, they will not return. Of course, these orders were placed from the team while "working" from home because they are not park people. ***This post is made in jest, I have no idea what is going on with the billboards. I saw where the billboards were replaced at Kings Dominion, which may indicate their junkyard coaster will not stay in JungleX.*** 2 Quote
WoodVengeance Posted April 12, 2025 Posted April 12, 2025 Something I heard was that they might put up new billboards to commemorate the ride's 20th anniversary, but I cannot confirm that. 3 Quote
Orion-XL200 Posted April 13, 2025 Posted April 13, 2025 I believe KD's just had theirs redone and there wasn't much difference other than them being new. 2 Quote
Stoan Posted April 18, 2025 Posted April 18, 2025 Well well well, looks like ours got a pretty big overhaul https://local12.com/news/local/kings-island-cincinnati-queen-city-stunt-coaster-backlot-announces-reimaged-ride-will-have-guests-racing-through-streets-season-passholders-opening-day-celebration-classic-coasters-experience-announcements-consumer 2 Quote
super7 Posted April 18, 2025 Posted April 18, 2025 One can put lipstick on a pig, but one cannot take it to the prom. Or something like that. This coaster is still an eyesore. 3 Quote
Losantiville Mining Co. Posted April 18, 2025 Posted April 18, 2025 The changes look really nice, although I wonder what would make it look better that isn't a full retheme. Some trees/foliage in front of the fences and more paint on the shipping containers would probably help out. 1 Quote
CedarPointer Posted April 18, 2025 Posted April 18, 2025 I think the updated billboards are a nice touch, but the new name is terrible, and there is still a nonfunctional splashdown, run down 20 year old shipping containers, etc. 2 Quote
