tycoonrebel7188
I would put them on Combat but i'm not a big fan of the Brady Bunch so therefore i do not own the seasons. sorry-_-
PKIDelirium
Even if you don't have a DVD burner, you can use DVDDecrypter to rip the disc, I've been told that's the best program for Windows ripping.
Gordon Bombay
I'm currently putting the video on my external hard drive, thanks to Bill and Don for helping me out!
Captain Nemo
Or... you could use some of the episode for your coasters of KI video.
Jasper
Ok I am a BRady Bunch Fanatic now and it is Episode #11 On Season 5. I have seasons 4 and 5 on dvd and i am hoping to get more. It is very cool to see Kings Island back in the day when plaid pant pulled up to your belly button was cool. (Jan) And Combat, answer to your question is DVD Decryptor it is the best program for doing that kind of stuff like PKIDelirium said. And if you have any really large discs use a program called DVD Shrink. PM me if you ever need a link to it. Hope its helpful.

KI-ORIG-EMP
I was there also when they filmed it. Same when the Partrige Family were there.... Mike
ZosoBeast
What always cracked me up about that episode was when Alice was standing on "Der Spinin Keggers" platform then the rides starts to move, with her STILL standing on the platform! She was not even in a keg! You would NEVER see that in this day and age.
The Interpreter
What always cracked me up about that episode was when Alice was standing on "Der Spinin Keggers" platform then the rides starts to move, with her STILL standing on the platform! She was not even in a keg! You would NEVER see that in this day and age. And you weren't likely to have seen it back then except in a movie. Nowadays, you wouldn't see it in most movies, either! US Parks in particular don't want to be seen as in any way encouraging or having unsafe practices, which is why that last roller coaster gone horribly wrong movie was shot in Canada... Cory Butcher
I'm assuming that you are refering to the Roller coaster scene in Final Destination 3? Thank god hydraulics dont just fail like that, and that there are numerous fail safes implemented on Coasters!
The Interpreter
I am, and WE know that. Friends of mine are constantly pointing out how unsafe parks and coasters are, and frequently use that movie as their evidence. Sigh.
Buckeye-Beast
I was on imdb and it says there was part of a movie filmed at KI called fresh horses in 1988, has anybody seen it, if so does it have any good shots of the park? Also something called the ABC Saturday Superstar Movie, starring the Banana Splits was shot on location there in 1972. I would have to guess that it's horrible, but I would like to see it just for the views of pre-Paramount park. I'm guessing that it does not exist but I was wondering if anyone here remembers it. after I posted this, I found this...

Yeah, was actually filmed during Winterfest and had some great scenes of International Street in all it's splendor.
Steveo3631
One thing I recall in the 70's was a show with Soupy Sales riding Kenton's Cove Keelboat Canal when it opened, in the Fall I believe. These clips would be great to see if the park made them available! Who else remembers the Dinah Shore show being filmed there in the late 70's, showing many shows and rides from the park then. Vortex
The opening of the Banana Splits show was shot at Coney Island.
Cory Butcher
Thats what I was thinking, because the show ran from 68-70 and KI wasnt open til 1972 as we all know, also from watching that video, I felt that the Midway shot looked much to wide to be KI's. I know that it used to be manacured that nice, but I couldn't help but think that that was Coney Island. It would make sense for the movie to be shot at KI in 72 however, too bad that we dont have any clips of that.
The Interpreter
That is most definitely Coney Island, Ohio.
coastergirl
The ABC Saturday Superstar Movie is not the same thing as the Banana Splits Saturday morning show. The ABC Saturday Superstar Movie ran from 1972 - 1974 http://www.imdb.com/List?endings=on&&a...,%20Ohio,%20USA
TOPGUN1993
I heard that they had a log flume boat in the royal fountainsand they were paddleing around, for the banna splits KI show.
Jasper
In the very opening shot of the Banna Splits intro you can see that the midway has like gardens around it and is in kind of a circle shape. Man would i love to go back to those days to ride some of the old classic rides.
Hank
I think they should do a Brady Bunch/Partridge Family reunion at PKI. They could all stay at Great Wolf Lodge, and Alice could fix them all a good dinner!
coasterdad
Boy all know how to make someone old I use to watch these when I was much younger. I have some of this stuff on tape. I hope to get it dubed to HD and DVD soon, but when you have a family that life take over you.

tycoonrebel7188
^I would definitly love to help out with a project like that if you ever did it. It's a shame that I just got my hair cut though, I could have passed as a Brady before I got it cut. lol
Purplehaze
Or... you could use some of the episode for your coasters of KI video.
