  1. would be amazing if this was on the meal plan
  2. Closing down orion and beast 45 mins for 4 mins (literally) of fireworks is a huge waste of everyone's time. Being herded through like cattle after with no front seat preference after was wonderful too. /sarcasm
  3. Yea, I can't do beast anymore till they allow front preference again. It was a real shock to the back after doing exclusively front seat for 5+ seasons now.
  4. Ya, it's not very shocking that families are taking the better safe than sorry responsible route. Wages are down or non existent and no one really knows how long this thing is gonna last. I know if I had kids I wouldn't be risking their health. Mistakes that can result in death are generally avoided and can derail families.
  5. Sorry I don't have a graph to fit your narrative, I have facts. https://www.businessinsider.com/coronavirus-hopes-fade-for-swedens-herd-immunity-experiment-2020-6
  6. A perfect example of why we're last in fighting this "imaginary" foe. Ask Sweden how well "herd immunity" is working out.... I'm waiting.
  7. The park isn't even open after dark and you think there's going to be a haunt? At this rate we'll be lucky if the park stays open through August. The numbers are getting bad.
  8. Managing the line and keeping it small prevents it from becoming a 4 hour line. What they are doing is positive in every way. Not being able to ride with a couple hour park investment is a small price to pay, if it was a 4 hour line you wouldn't be riding either. At least this way you have a chance to catch it from 6-7. No one wants to spend half their day at the park in line for orion.
  9. My guess is they don't want to risk the footage being used by the media to report on attendance. I can say the cams were up recently as I checked them often.
  10. Or it might just be time to face the reality that we're in a pandemic and lots of people either aren't in a financial position to visit amusement parks or put their families safety ahead of fun.
  11. According to their post history cedarislander is EMS... that's disturbing. Remind me to drive myself to the hospital.
  12. No, by @CedarIslander 's logic people die wearing seat belts so they are totally not effective and everyone should not wear them... /facepalm.
  13. Common sense is preventive barriers are just that. Sorry you don't understand how water droplets work.
  14. Clearly someone who doesn't understand the complexities of virtual queuing systems
  15. as if 1% of people isn't millions of people.....
  16. parks haven't been open enough for tracing to be established
  17. Honestly the main thing attractive about the haunt right now is a chance to ride Orion at night. Not all of us can make it down there on the 4th. Who would have though getting a night ride on the new coaster would be a rare thing.
  18. This one is the gamebreaker for me. I ride at night (look at the name). Hope the park didn't need my business this season.
  19. I want the safest path to opening even if that means waiting a little longer. Safety beats entertainment every time.
  20. This always happens, its best to be there live. Was sad I couldn't be.
  21. I miss Kyle of Sparta from a couple seasons ago on The Beast. He always seemed to enjoy the mic and made me smile. Most spielers I just end up tuning out though because trying to follow along is like nails on a chalk board. look at that, he's on youtube
  22. With how small the area of interest is, I'm starting to believe if it is a coaster that maybe they are taking their time on prepping the land to save money. This might not be something that's completed till 2018 if that's the case.
