  1. Looks like its gonna take something really serious to happen for them to actually make a chaperone policy. Unfortunate.
  2. What would I love to see next? A built from the ground up RMC "return of the son" of beast where Vortex used to stand.
  3. I've messaged the park twice about it already.. if you cant come up with anything then REALLY BAD COVERS... just play theme park music.. PLEASE
  4. anyone else wondering if we're finally gonna be open till 10pm tomorrow?
  5. Yea, all the yellow jackets I saw looked like they'd have trouble fighting their way out of a paper bag, let alone handle a conflict.
  6. An Invert without shoulder restraints? Yea... Cedar Fair isn't in the business of killing guests so that's not happening.
  7. Limiting hours during the part of the season I visit the most is a great way to get me to just write off the season. He's free to move whenever he wants...
  8. would be amazing if this was on the meal plan
  9. Closing down orion and beast 45 mins for 4 mins (literally) of fireworks is a huge waste of everyone's time. Being herded through like cattle after with no front seat preference after was wonderful too. /sarcasm
  10. Yea, I can't do beast anymore till they allow front preference again. It was a real shock to the back after doing exclusively front seat for 5+ seasons now.
  11. Ya, it's not very shocking that families are taking the better safe than sorry responsible route. Wages are down or non existent and no one really knows how long this thing is gonna last. I know if I had kids I wouldn't be risking their health. Mistakes that can result in death are generally avoided and can derail families.
  12. Sorry I don't have a graph to fit your narrative, I have facts. https://www.businessinsider.com/coronavirus-hopes-fade-for-swedens-herd-immunity-experiment-2020-6
  13. A perfect example of why we're last in fighting this "imaginary" foe. Ask Sweden how well "herd immunity" is working out.... I'm waiting.
  14. The park isn't even open after dark and you think there's going to be a haunt? At this rate we'll be lucky if the park stays open through August. The numbers are getting bad.
  15. Managing the line and keeping it small prevents it from becoming a 4 hour line. What they are doing is positive in every way. Not being able to ride with a couple hour park investment is a small price to pay, if it was a 4 hour line you wouldn't be riding either. At least this way you have a chance to catch it from 6-7. No one wants to spend half their day at the park in line for orion.
  16. My guess is they don't want to risk the footage being used by the media to report on attendance. I can say the cams were up recently as I checked them often.
  17. Or it might just be time to face the reality that we're in a pandemic and lots of people either aren't in a financial position to visit amusement parks or put their families safety ahead of fun.
  18. According to their post history cedarislander is EMS... that's disturbing. Remind me to drive myself to the hospital.
  19. No, by @CedarIslander 's logic people die wearing seat belts so they are totally not effective and everyone should not wear them... /facepalm.
  20. Common sense is preventive barriers are just that. Sorry you don't understand how water droplets work.
  21. Clearly someone who doesn't understand the complexities of virtual queuing systems
  22. as if 1% of people isn't millions of people.....
  23. parks haven't been open enough for tracing to be established
