If people didn't keep bringing it up...Note: You just did. See also the TOS. At least one person isn't.11 points

Are you on a solid footing with that claim? It doesn't seem very concrete to me.8 points

I don't see the importance of that particular piece... I mean, all in all it's just another... Oh nevermind.7 points

This isn't totally related to Coasting for Kids, but it is somewhat, so I'll post it here. If you haven't heard of it before, Amazon Smile is a program through Amazon.com where 0.5% of every purchase goes to a charity of your choosing. To use it, just shop through smile.amazon.com instead of the normal site. All items are exactly the same price as they would normally be, so you don't pay a penny more. Give Kids the World is one of the many, many charities you can choose to benefit with your purchases, as are A Kid Again, and many of the other nonprofits that Kings Island and KICentral members have given to over the years. I know that half a percent doesn't seem like much, but look at it this way: when I graduate college, I plan on ordering a nice Nikon DSLR camera as a graduation present. With that purchase that I would have been making regardless, a charity of my choice will be given a few dollars at no additional cost to me. Seems like a pretty sweet deal if you ask me.6 points

Lovin' this new webcam location. It will be cool to see them paint up close.6 points

Yep, love that graphic. Actually....I enjoy anything with The Beast logo since it's my favorite in the park.6 points

There comes a time when past categorizations we as a society used to sort things no longer make sense. I used to know what was wood, what was steel, what was a coaster--what was not. Then little doubts one by one came dancing in. First, there was, for me, what was, then, SFMM's Superman. Was it or wasn't it? Then rcdb.com befuddled me by not classifying the two Tracey pretzels left as coasters, while having no problem saying Adventureland Iowa's dark ride is. My mind went back to INTAMIN first generation freefalls. How are those not coasters? Especially if that Superman is. Then came Top Thrill and Kingda Ka, in many ways just bigger, slightly different freefalls, one with a so-called airtime hill after the drop. Then came El Toro. Then Topper track. And now Iron Horse. Some enthusiasts embraced a "hybrid" category for reasons I really don't get. The Coney Island Cyclone was happily wood for years. To me, it still was. For me, at least, the wood/steel dichotomy no longer makes sense. Like Potter Stewart, I'm reduced to sputtering that I know wood when I see it. (Bad pun fully intended). And Goliath? Wood? Either I must guffaw outrageously or give up any pretense of having any sane, defensible wood/steel Terp approved categorization system for rolley coasters.6 points

I would like that but I feel like their would be a low chance that you could be able to pass it without getting wet; thanks to all the immature kids. Sorry for the double post.5 points

What are the coldest temperatures they can paint in? I've heard that when painting a house, you don't want to paint when it's any lower than 40 degrees outside. I'm not sure how different coasters are, but if that is the case, it's no surprise that a lot hasn't gotten done the past several weeks.4 points

Twin Racer? Was it ever officially called that? That's very interesting to me.4 points

You can cite Terp as your source should you choose. The area will be known as Action Zone in 2014, unless, which is highly unlikely, plans for this year change after 02/21/2014.4 points

^ It's the off-season and that wall has something to new with our brand spanking new, twisty, big, and shiny contraption. Why not?4 points

If it does, it will say: Action Zone. Terp, cross threading, with accuracy as of 02/21/2014.4 points

Just to be oxymoronic: no Action Zone retheme. No cited source. Reliable. And this time, one who knew talked. With appropriate delegation. In conformance with the TOS, there is no cited source. And that's the way it is, this the 21st day of February, 2014. Now, about that target circle...(signal lost...OUT)4 points

The silhouette of the lift hill and GWL is actually pretty cool. I'm glad they gave The Bat its own webcam. Now I don't have to zoom in on the back of the Banshee cam and squint my eyes to see how much painting they've done!3 points

^Yeah, fountains like that tend to become play areas for kids. And when kids play in fountains like that, they're usually running back and forth at full speed which could, again, cause problems in a congested area. Especially in an area where people are going to be gazing up at a brand new Banshee while they walk.3 points
-
I feel like if they made that very large circle a place where you could not walk, it would cause an awful lot of congestion in that area.3 points
-
Sorry for the double post, but are those footers I see in the AZ circle?3 points

... not re-theming to something entirely different... (Post edited since it had before responded to the one above it, and, as of 0115 on 02/22/2014, no longer made sense. No diversions, no knitting, no picking. Not this time. Not that those aren't worthy undertakings.)3 points

What do you mean there's no re-theme? We can already see traces of a retheme! There was no action in said zone many previous years, and now there is! I kid, I kid!3 points
-
I thought if something was themed after him it would end up a diversion3 points

The whole thing's a clue. Combined with the O'Terpy tombstone, it's obvious AZ going to be themed to The Interpeter. It will look exactly like Great Adventure. (There, I helped.)3 points
