  1. We all know it's long overdue for Soak City to receive some love with the last addition being Tropical Plunge in 2016. I decided to dream up an expansion idea that would be Soak City's largest expansion in years. I based it off of recent CF trends with waterpark additions as well as something new and unique for the area. Here's are what the numbers mean: 1) Twisted Pipeline: a White Water West slidewheel. The second in America. The only other one being Medusa's Slidewheel at Mt Olympus. The ride I used for the overlay is one at Chimelong Waterpark in China. Let me say it fits really well and would be very unique for the park 2) Little Miami cliffs: a cliff jumping experience similar to Mountain Bay cliffs at Canada's Wonderland. Guests would have 3 different levels to jump from 3) Miami River Lookout Landing: a large multi story play structure more than twice the size as the other one (splash landing) would feature more thrilling slides, 2 large buckets, multiple dumping/splashing equiptment that would make for a very fun experience for people all ages. 4) Little Miami waves: a kids wave pool with smaller waves for those who aren't quite ready for the large waves of Tidal Wave Bay. Both the play structure and mini wave pool would replace the current smaller wave pool like KD did for Coconut Shores 5) Beach Street: a food truck inspired dining location with multiple food offerings like walking tacos, pizza, seafood, etc as well as a stage with live music on select days in the summer just like KD. Would replace the current pirate ship play structure. However, the additions of the mini wave pool and bigger play structure would make up the loss of that. Remember, this is just a concept. Nothing has been confirmed by the park, but this was fun to make and it took a while which is why I'm releasing this at almost 2 in the morning lol. Here's the picture. Enjoy and let me know your thoughts!

  2. I didn't start going to Kings Island regularly until I was in college (early 90s). I was (and still am) so impressed with the people that worked there. I thought they seemed so "with it" and sophisticated. When I grow up, I want to work at Kings Island.

  4. We have had a few of those over the years. Usually gets deleted because people start posting stuff they shouldn't LOL. Here is one I found that still exists. Use it or start one and see how long it survives LOL.

  5. Noticed Surf dog cycling on the web cams and scrambler cars being put into place. It's getting closer.....

  6. WindSeeker is the best flat in the park, it’s a premium experience.

  7. As a die hard Beast fan, I very much consider this blasphemy.

  8. EDIT: Ignore me, @Outdoor Man, I totally misread what you were saying in the morning fog of no coffee. <3

  9. Made a concept of a beach street kind of thing similar to what KD got this year in their waterpark. Here's what the concept includes: the colorful rectangle boxes are the food truck like food stands, the hot pink dots are tables, the big blue circle thing in the center is a splash pad, the black box in the right corner is a stage for live bands/shows, and the brown lines in front of the stage are benches to watch said shows. Note: I just made this concept and I forgot that their are power lines in this area, so this exact location isn't too likely, but they can do it in another location. Here's the pic:

  10. Aaaannnnnnnnndddd let me stop you right there. So, out of most of everyone here, I might have the most hours in that waterpark and I know it like the back of my hand. Here are just some things that you guys need to keep in mind here: That lower center red zone is where the electrical lines are, AKA no water park additions are probably going to be close to it due to that proximity, plus the back roads are practically the only maintence roads to the kiddie pool pump houses. Upper area is Tasmanian Typhoon Mondo Monsoon, that thing is a relic don't touch it pls The upper area is honestly a part of the area I want the waterpark to grow out to. If not there, at least the large green space next to the main road. We are practically landlocked and have 0 space to move out besides taking slides and attractions out. The back area by Pine is honestly my best bet for a future addition. It has space, it needs to be fleshed out, it has potential. Just add a water coaster already geez. I don't think Zoom is going anywhere yet. They just added a new chain lift a few years back, however it is aging, really bad even with it being a historical slide. I still believe we need a retheme and revitalization of the waterpark. It needs some TLC and I seriously believe we need in the least a new slide complex and a watercoaster within the next 10 years max. Our waterpark can really kick it out if they put the right amount of love into it (and if they turned off the water features and made it a legit lazy river).
