  1. Hard to imagine any of the flat rides being straight up demolished aside from the Drop Tower. Some are fairly new including a star flyer, a NebuluZ and a discovery. Looking at what they have I realized the park technically has two "flying dutchman" rides, which is kind of funny. Ragin' Cajun probably has a shot too.

  2. I know the fate of these coasters seems pretty bleak as a whole, but as an optimist it would be great to see a few of them get a new home. Imagine Ride of Steel going to say, Michigan's Adventure. I know it's a huge structure but it would be a massive hit up there. The SLC I could see possibly being sold and picked up by a smaller park. Somewhere like Indiana Beach would be a great park for one of those to go. I know Firebird will more than likely be a goner, but I can mourn it since it is historic as well as iconic to 90's kids who remember a certain movie in which it was featured in. And well, Batwing, that's basically a given. I've heard it had terrible down time and these older Vekoma Flying Dutchmans are becoming extinct as we know it. Sad because this is a X-Flight/Firehawk clone and again a sentimental type ride. But yeah. This merger has seen a lot of carnage and hardly any formal announcements to say goodbye. I'm glad they're doing the right thing by announcing this now so people can get in their last rides and visits. I hope people document everything before it's just a flicker of the past. It might not be the best park in the chain but as always, every ride and every park holds a special place in someone's heart.

  3. ^ I would love to see us get Ragin' Cajun and the Nebulaz. We are one of the few parks in the chain that doesn't have a Wild Mouse.

  4. Anyone think Kings Island will get Ragin’ Cajun? The Xtreme Skyflyer spot would fit it perfectly.

  5. Yeah, I think this park was the one that was talked about the most when it came to which park(s) Six Flags would potentially close. Unfortunately, I think the coasters there are either too old or, in the case of Superman, too big to be considered for relocation. I think some of the flat rides could be relocated though, as well as the new trains for Superman and Professor Screamore's SkyWinder.

  6. But but but...you know how much they love to reuse themes anywhere they can!
