  1. Goble come on man. Lay off Silver, his Grandmother passed away today. He gets a three day pass.
  2. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (Well at least that still works)
  3. They better do something about that one horizontal support, it looks as if Malem could reach up and grab it.
  4. I don't know if this is even possible but if anyone has a desire to pursue any type of engineering career trying for a junior/assistant maintenance position could be very beneficial. While maybe not as fun as a ride-op position, you might actually learn a lot and would certainly help with any future internship opportunities. You might initially get stuck fixing leaky faucets and such but the point is getting to know the maintenance staff and showing your stuff.
  5. So what happens if you are offered a custodian job for your first year? Do you take it and hope for a promotion the following year or take a pass?
  6. Will stick to CF and SF parks as we will have SP to both. SFSTL for certain as grandparents want to go to the waterpark with the boys and we have places to stay. The boys do much better with splitting up the day between the waterpark and dry park. WoF is just 4 hours from there but I suspect they will be coastered out after getting beat up at SFSTL. So I am considering 1 or 2 eastern trips. Carrowinds for a couple of days and maybe add on KD if they aren't tired out/suffering Minecraft detox. Would like to hit NJFTP but don't want to pay ~$40 a head for 4 hours at a waterpark so maybe have Dorney as the base of operations with a day trip NJ. We also have 1 or 2 weeks of Boy Scout Camp to work around as well.
  7. It's been about 40 years since I was in the cave but that was fun.
  8. I would be good with a Dr. Strange-ish tilt house exit. Not sure it would put me in the frame of mind to purchase anything.
  9. Termites took over a coaster? How could that be missed on inspections?
  10. I guess I have my own unique definition of a terrain coaster, it needs to follow the terrain.
  11. I have made some profoundly uninspired and pointless posts in my short time on this forum. Xdog42 welcome to the club, we are an elite group.
  12. Fixed that for you. Well unless Mother Nature pops up a few mountains sometime soon you might have to wait a few million years for a Terrain Giga. I look forward to slightly smaller lines IF we get a generic Cedar Fair B&M giga. Can you hold my souvineer cup for me?
  13. Single serve drink mix packets take little space in your pocket. I am partial to the Motts sugar free Apple. Marc's sells a box of six for a buck or two.
  14. If you have the basic paramaeters of your build laid out I highly suggest following buildapcsales on Reddit religiously. Like 4-5 times a day. Most of the good deals in components get posted there very quickly so if you have a couple of months time frame and some patience you can save a lot and/or get better components that fit your budget. Especially if you are willing to play the rebate game. Also gpushack.com sells refurbed cards with a 2 year warranty, but their stock changes frequently so again you just have to check it every day. EVGA also runs some good sales on their B stock occasionally. And don't forget Microcenter open box inventory. Just make sure you have the ability to fully test out the compenent because the return window is usually only 14 days and if it is a GPU it was probably returned because it doesn't overclock well.
  15. ^ Most on this board should have a Microcenter close by and they use processors as a loss leader. The i7-5820K 6 core is still a beast and a bargain $319, though the x99 motherboard is a bit more than Z170 for a Skylake CPU. If you can put together a Lego helicopter you can build your own PC. I think Microcenter will assemble it for free if you buy all your parts there, hell bring me lunch and I will put it together. Here is an example of a PC I built last fall and kind of went nuts on. It can be done for a lot less now. 16. ^ How so? The kids jumped a fence. is the park supposed to dismantle the slides in the off season? Maybe I missed something but I don't see it.
  17. ^ The recommended spec is interesting because a GTX980 and a R9 380 are not in the same league. Last fall a 980 was nearly $500 but a 4GB 380 was $220.
  18. I have read that the current wait time is anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes. While I have never done 5 minutes it is very possible I have refilled within 15 on a hot July day, though it was probably with ice water. As I have mentioned before instead of buying one plastic cup I would likely buy the plan for each in the family so I doubt 15 minute or even 30 minute wait time wouldn't be a problem for me. 2 hours Sparky? Dude, you are a camel.
  19. Confused. How does one abuse the privledge? It's soda and for everyone, there is no one to sneak it to.
  20. That is not going to happen. With MS gone they are at what, 16 now? Even that is counting the Disc-O.
  21. ^ Not to mention the media. KI may request they not spoiler it, but they are under no obligation. Plus once you get in line there is not much you can do about the loud mouths.
  22. Looks like fun. Although we didn't attend due to a scout camp out we ended up not attending that so Ryan could study for his first final exams. He didn't really need to but he was very anxious about them. Hopefully next year will work out. Hope to be at KI opening weekend but Easter weekend is our fallback holiday trip to St. Louis if someone gets sick/weather bad over Christmas. Received an email from the school informing us someone in Kiefer's class has pneumonia. Ugg.
  23. eBay has you covered there Goble. James Bond style. (Aston Martin not included) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Remote-Control-Stealth-Hidden-Turning-Licence-Plate-Frame-License-Plate-Flipper-/222343928268?hash=item33c4bb19cc:g:ez0AAOSwiDFYQQQx&vxp=mtr
