Well now you have. SFSTL is just as bad if not worse in service. The difference being at KI service seems to get better as the season progresses for the most part. At SFSTL it just stays bad.

I kind of had to check my calendar to verify it wasn't April 1st. As a city dweller I didn't know miniature ponies were legitimate service animals but they are and officially welcomed at all CF parks. I have on occasion seen service dogs at amusement parks but never a pony. For those of you wondering, "A relief area is located adjacent to the restroom at Backlot Stunt Coaster." Obviously service animals are not allowed on the attractions, but I just can't get the image of a little pony strapped into Banshee or Firehawk out of my head. It appears SIX is not as forward thinking as Cedar Fair in this regard. Has anyone seen a service pony at an amusement park? Try logging into my myfunpix.com from a real computer and see what happens. Also if you are trying from the app, try deleting it and reinstalling and then log in.

Noticed we don't have general CP 2017 thread. Kiefer and I took a short trip up this afternoon (1-6) and had a really pleasant day for an opening weekend. Top Thrill Cubster was down until right before we left at 6 (to be expected) and Magnum never opened but other than that I was pleasantly surprised given the low expectations I went in with. The ride ops were really hustling and churning out the trains. Despite the vast majority of food stands not open food lines were very reasonable with barely a 5 minute wait for anything. (Hear that KI?) I had to be big mean parent this morning and leave Ryan at home because he violated his screen time grounding last night from a previous serious infraction. I felt really bad having having to do it, but don't let him know that. I actually had to work on Kiefer a bit this morning to him to go because he didn't want to leave his brother older behind and said it wouldn't be as much fun. Was my first ride on Iron Dragon, boy was that a snooze fest. The Bat is much better. Although we were back by The Ride Formerly Known as Mean Streak I didn't bother to go look at it as there have been plenty of recent photos on the net and my eyes lack a zoom lens anyway.

I also suggest getting the Kings Island app for the wait times and park map. It is not perfect but is better than being blind.

Update Update: So we took a short afternoon trip to CP today and as I feared the transfer of FunPix to the new QR code only SP was not perfect. The photos were not showing up in either of my apps and the kiosks were not reading the QR code, necessitating handing my pass to a host. I finally found a young man who seemed to really know what he was doing (Phillipino by the way, it says so on his name badge) and he discovered that my card was not linked to funpix account so once we entered my email address again all was working again. Kiosks read the QR code and the new photos showed up on the apps. The entry photographer did not want to scan my SP and handed me a card, so I guess CP is not completely online with the new system yet or just a training issue.

So normal day at CP, just less people. Winds are forecast to be a bit less than today and it didn't seem to impact ops. Might try and get a short visit in Sunday.

^ To illustrate your point on the website. If you want to explore your food options at the park where would you look? Let's try 'Explore', nope not there. OK. Where else could I find it? 'Play' ? Certainly not, I want to eat not play and who had parents raising their kids to play with their food? But that is where it is.

Only relevant from a personal perspective because jumping in line after the park's stated closing time would be unfair to the park. Others may disagree, but I think the park handled this very poorly and if it happened to me I would file a complaint.

Were you in line prior to 8PM or arrived at the line at 8PM?
