Whatever the forecast is now it will certainly be different 5 days from now. Coming from Columbus there is a considerable investment in time and money getting there so I tend to look up north if the forecast is more that scattered showers for that day. However whenever I do that there are always a few posts here like "the storm cleared the park out and everthing is a station wait!" Next time you are at the Dollar Store get some cheap ponchos to have on hand.

I really like the idea of kiosk only FunPix if it allows more rides to have photos but it sounds from what I have seen the system kind of needs frequent human attention to keep it running correctly. I also wonder if someone at a remote location is reviewing the photos and editing out the NSFP (park) photos or if they are just letting them que up raw. If it is raw it won't take pranksters long to figure this out.

Will certainly get the meal plan for the boys but am still on the fence for myself. I can't really eat any of the starchy carb laden foods that make up the majority of options so my choices are Hanks, just a 1/4 lb chicken or burger patty or a salad (that now has no protein). I just might have to skip it and hoof it to the car or plead my case with Guest Services that they don't have any reasonable food options for me. I honestly would be willing to pay the $140 for the meal plan if they then allowed me to then bring a lunch bag in with food I can eat.

^ Sounds like a software glitch that I will get worked out shortly. One of the other potential problems with the new system is line speed even at the drink only stands. Frequently you see a large family crowded around the register with a fist full of vouchers and obviously things are not going well getting it sorted out. In those cases I would just go ahead and get my refill with the plastic cup and no one would say anything. That might not be possible if you need to get a new paper cup.

Let's just hope the GCI Crew didn't build that fence.

Hey gang, do you know how to change your "rank" (text above the avatar)? I can't seem to find it in edit profile. Noticed it still says King Grinch and that was kind of holiday themed.

My kids would be so mad. They love stuff like that but can't have the petrochemical based food dyes they contain. They are so sick of chocolate and we're kind of bummed this morning, but at least we found some dye free jelly beans.

I checked the FAQs on KI today and some seem to be missing, but the faqs on CP say they work at all CF parks. My question. Straws and lids? I am guessing not but without the lid support paper cups have a tendency to collapse especially when handled by a klutz like me or super duper klutzes like my kids. Either way I will go with this option and most likely put my money where my mouth (fingers?) is and actually buy 3 plans this this year. I like ice and 16oz is barely enough water for me in 15 minutes on a hot day. Probably will still carry a collapsible water bottle with me.

My least favorite interview question is "If you were a tree what kind would you be and why?" Those kinds of questions are so stupid but the HR pukes with psychology degrees have to justify their jobs some how. Fortunately you have a great anwer at KI. What I if interesting is the Soak City burger/chicken stand ran incredibly well the half dozen or so times I used it. @sloan your experience obviously differes but I do find the *one* of the problems frequently is cooking of the food and I get it to a degree because breaded chicken does not last long under a warmer. They also don't have enough dedicated drink stands.

Yah, there is no excuse for that nonsense. If you don't have the staff to feed your guests call in the food trucks, they will be happy to have the business. They caught a lot grief for it from what I hear. Hopefully things improve this year. I think the Meal plans are a great deal, but I don't do long waits for food. I didn't have any problems last year but I only went on weekdays early in the season. I would rather leave the park for fast food or eat out of a cooler and usually have a decent amount in of food in a cooler just in case.

A bit confused over BoddaH1194's comments and questions more than anything. Scratching my head on how the park could possibly had anything to do with this or done anything to prevent this. Razor wire fencing around all park owned property not in a direct line of sight from security personnel? That is a standard I don't think this society wants or can possibly achieve. They used to have a printable park hours calendar, I hope they bring that back. Color Blind and I can't tell any difference between the 10-8 days and 10-10 days in May and June. On another note it is definitely designed for mobile. Limitled information in portrait mode and expanded menues and layout in landscape on an iPad.

I kind of feel this way about sporting events these days. My last few experiences have been less that stellar. There is always a group of drunk goons close by screaming obscenities the whole game. Not ideal even without the kids. Even if offered free tickets I usually pass.

I know you all have been working really hard and it is much appreciated. This is very minor and not a big deal but the ability to change the text or your "rank" seems to be gone, at least I can't figure out how in edit profile anymore. On a lot of forums that ability is not enabled until after X number of posts so with the new software the counter may have been reset to zero.

I heard a while back it would be just like the Marina Gate. Slow or Stop sign, I can't remember which.
