I was thinking it was a giant onion.

Have someone proof read it for grammar before you post.

As usual I am confused by your pithy posts. Word economics is a good thing, but you take it to an extreme level so there is never enough context and frequently members read something you many not have intended into it. So how is BGW a family day and the others not? Leaving the kids at pet check? Also I have never ever seen a positive report about SFA.

Oh that’s good. Official nickname as far as I am concerned. I don’t think I will be able to ever call it anything else.

Managing Personal Belongings in the Park

It’s hard to put a rule and guidance on fanny packs becuase they vary from huge multi compartment hard shell pouches that could hold enough ammo to start a small war to nothing more than a spandex tube with a zipper similar to an old school money belt but can stretch to hold a phone and maybe some keys. -
I know, think of the upcharge potential. Us city slickers rarely get the opportunity to wring the neck of a chicken.

Cotton ones are easy to find but you have to look a bit harder for good synthetic ones. Not sure what you mean by normal, plain colored. Off the shelf multiple zippered pockets seems to be a unicorn. I have these and are ok, they come in different colors and lengths. https://www.amazon.com/Columbia-Silver-Ridge-Cargo-Short/dp/B006ZS3SL4 The Duluth Trading Co. dry on the fly cargo shorts are top quality but pricey. Come in two lengths. Often on sale for 20% off. I still think the Boy Scout shorts are the best for parks/waterpark. They have a drawstring so can be worn with or without a belt. In sizes youth small to men’s 3X but do not come in different lengths. Most cities should have a Scout Shop, but can be purchased online. https://www.scoutshop.org/adult-boy-scout-uniform-shorts.html You can always have an alterations shop add more zippers for $10-$15, or even hem the legs for $10. -

Many of us are frequent attendees so getting a locker each visit would start to add up, so we learn to travel light. There are many tricks such as using the disposable drink cup plan, checking in any critical medications at First Aid, cargo shorts etc. CP has started a roaming locker system this year which hopefully will find it’s way to KI sometime soon. Small children don’t travel light, big cameras, variable weather days etc. all make a locker convenient or even necessary for some. I genneraly just carry my phone, a clip for Passes/license/cc, travel size sunscreen I refill, and a small bottle with a few meds I need quick access to. Sometimes a .97 Walmart rain poncho, usually have a small powerbank if I will be there a long time. -
Absolutely. You will be presented with tickets you can print out with bar codes and likely an email with a link to print out the tickets as well. Have fun!

Maybe a Japanese Steakhouse would be more appropriate for International Street and they could serve Wagyu Beef. Seasonal workers throwing and juggling knives would be quit the show.

I am sure they are water resistant to a degree but having it short out would really suck. More importantly I like it being secured separately from my phone which I am taking in and out of pockets. The days of the magnetic key box tucked in the undercarriage are over. -

All three of us wear Boy Scout uniform shorts/trunks. Quick dry synthetics, zippered pocket and a double ziplock drybag attached to a tether in the left cargo pocket perfect for key FOB or other items. No metal so waterpark approved and only $22 and no sales tax. -
I am sure the food is great, I just don’t handle country well. Maybe they don’t all blast it like that one did, but have never gone back.

Sometimes there are green beans, there were not last Friday. Some like consistency some like change. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I haven’t had any burgers yet this year but I know what you mean. CF seems to cook burgers to a minimum temp of 375F. There is well done and then there is crunchy. Not so sure what I think about a pay by the pound salad bar after my experience with a $15 frozen yogurt bowl up at CP. Coney does have the collard greens and I should check and see if they add anything nefarious to them as that may be an option. The cole slaw didn’t seem to sweet like at Ms Keats so will check into that as well.

Scarowinds Announced!

So it takes an overstuffed park a few weekends in October for the the park to turn a profit? That is unfortunate. -

Not sure what your point is. Make it Passholder only? -

Might kill Winterfest but would it really kill Haunt? It seems overcrowded to me to the point that I really don’t want to be there. It is getting just insane at CP. -
Totally agree Brad, that kind of thing would be the great option. Leave the steaks to to real steakhouses, they are to hard to get right for inexperienced seasonal workers and would be ridiculously expensive at KI. Something like Midway Market while nothing spectacular is a great option for a family that can get something decent together rather stan stopping at a bunch of specialty food stands. Especially for those with specific dietary needs. There really is no where in the park some of us can get a “meal”, even Coney BBQ at best is just a snack due to the side choices.

What kind of tents? Big event catering tents or Marmot backpacking tents?

There already is a stage in Action Zone. Some people want to replace it with a parking lot coaster.
