  1. Here are the official specs on Snoopy's Runaway Railway (56 x 70 meters or approximately 184 x 230 feet) https://artengineering.de/en/produkte/attraktionen/achterbahnen/family-launch-coaster/ Lazy Bear Lodge at Canada's Wonderland looks to be 168 x 130 feet based upon my Google Earth calculations. So depending on how they orient it they could fit both the coaster and a Lazy Bear Lodge clone in that back part of Planet Snoopy. Tearing down Snoopy's Snack Shack, the Theater, and the Barnyard gives them a lot of flexibility.
  2. I can confirm that Sol Spin was open today as I rode it for the first time today. I did find the restraints pretty restrictive as others have mentioned. It was a nice ride but I will probably ride Cargo Loco much more of the two new rides. Delirium is still my favorite flat in the park.
  3. After being at the park today, I don't think that Snoopy Boutique is going anywhere and agree with what @Kenban said earlier that it appears that it is just getting rid of Planet Snoopy merch and some older Peanuts merch. The vast majority of Peanuts merch was not discounted. I do agree that I expect the old theater and barnyard to be demolished. It will be interesting to see what rides they add. I would love to see them do family rides that the whole family can do together. Something like a Tilt-a-Whirl or a Windstarz would both be great.
  4. Continuing the discussion from the other thread, the Cedar Fair designer also mentioned at ACE Coaster Con that the chain is looking at increasing the amount of indoor dining particularly at their Winterfest parks. While that doesn't mean more is coming to KI a new indoor location would help spread out the indoor crowds from Brewhouse and Festhaus.
  5. The last time I remember them doing a store sale the middle of the season is when they had the clearance sale at the Attitudes store. A few weeks later it was torn down in preparation for Coney BBQ. Hearing from one of the designers at CoasterCon last week it sounds like they want to do more with the Snoopy license. I could see the old Sky Ride station getting torn down as well as the barnyard. Wasn't there also a survey a few years ago asking about restaurant ideas for Planet Snoopy? A Camp Snoopy conversion like Carowinds would be fantastic.
  6. Yeah I'm thinking more the pathway is shorter similar to what they did with shortening the path to WWC with a brand new coaster's entrance closer to The Bat's entrance.
  7. I will be very curious to see if we start to see any work at Timberwolf after SpiritSong is finished. I would love to see the path to The Bat shortened if Timberwolf is demolished.
  8. SandSerpent, the park's Wild Mouse, will be retired on July 9. Having just ridden the ride last week, it was a fun ride but was definitely showing it's age. It will be interesting to see what the park puts in as that area of the park (Pantopia) could definitely use a headliner to spread out the crowds around the park. https://buschgardens.com/tampa/roller-coasters/sandserpent/
  9. 1. Mystic Timbers 2. Orion 3. The Beast 4. Banshee 5. Diamondback 6. Adventure Express 7. Racer 8. The Bat 9. Backlot Stunt Coaster 10. Flight of Fear 11. Woodstock Express 12. Flying Ace Aerial Chase 13. Invertigo 14. Great Pumpkin Coaster
  10. I also voted no. I'm not a big fan of upcharge attractions at general admission parks. I would also be good if Skyflyer was removed. I do like what KI has been doing adding family flats that can also run during Winterfest.
  11. Agreed. I would love to see what a rethemed BLSC area would look like. Put the Antiques, Jukebox Diner, and SRR in that new land along with a couple smaller flats.
  12. I'm loving all the work they are doing. As a big AE fan, it is great to see an underappreciated area get so much love.
  13. I would also think with Memorial Day being a busy weekend that it may make sense to shift the Adventure Port volume to another weekend.
  14. The others Barrels are now here. Taken from Orion's queue.
  15. They are making progress. They were testing the mechanics.
  16. I doubt they would do it but a B&M mini dive would be a nice popular addition for the park.
  17. I tried Grain and Grill yesterday for the first time and got the beef and the two pieces I got were a little thicker and very similar to the cut of the old tri tip over at Coney BBQ. I got the focaccia and perogies and thought everything was good. The focaccia was the best of the the three. The meat was a little dry but overall I was pleased with the meal.
  18. ^ Relatively moderate crowds. Longest I waited was probably 40 minutes for Millennium and Valravn. I was able to do Wild Mouse during ERT and was on the first train of Maverick and hit Steel Vengeance shortly after it opened.
  19. I'm at CP today and it is closed. It is running with empty trains though so it looks they are doing their testing.
  20. If The Bat is really going away, Action Zone needs a multiyear Frontier Canada style transformation. They should put some family flats and a Mack multilaunch and really think of a long-term plan for that area as Action Zone is the one land that still feels like some of the worst Paramount planning aside from BLSC.
  21. I think something like Blazing Fury at Dollywood or Black Diamond at Knoebels are both great examples of a dark ride that KI could use. We aren't ever getting something like Rise or Spider-man.
  22. An International Street web cam has replaced the Mystic Timbers web cam.
  23. Does this mean we no longer have Chef Major?
  24. Now that Diamondback is being repainted, Banshee should be next on the list. I do figure they will wait until they add something new into Action Zone to bundle it in with other improvements. Most of the other rides have gotten repainted recently though. The Bat's paint job has help up better than Banshee's has considering they were painted essentially the same time.
