  1. Yes. It all look better than the stuff I tried to create in there! Keep it up!
  2. BOYZ, SHE'S UP AND RUNNIN'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Here is the tweet: I really think the shot with Orion and The Racer is really cool!
  4. From the angle of the weatherbug cam, Vortex would be to the right of the Eiffel Tower. All that is left is two sections.
  5. I can already see the nightmares fathoming in my head.... The Beast being themed to The Beast in Beauty and The Beast, all the kid rides being themed to Disney characters, etc.. OH GOD PLEASE NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Something interesting I see a lot is many people compare Orion to Fury 325. Keep in mind that Kings Island doesn't need a huge roller coaster to keep people happy. Not only that, but Cedar Point is just up the road, and both parks provide different markets. Cedar Fair learned from Fury 325 that they don't need a super huge and expensive coaster to please the masses. Not only that, but Fury 325 has little themeing, but Orion has quite a bit of themeing to it. Just my thoughts.
  7. @Waltny It does appear they downed one more section since you were there last. My guess is they are going to down the drop turn last and everything else first. The park may just release a video of the last section coming down (hopefully).
  8. Sorry for the double post, but does anyone else notice how there seems to be some sort of wire from the bottom to the 265 ft level. Anyone possible know what its for?
  9. Looked like Linus' Launcher was worked on today.
  10. Not only that, but wooden coasters have (pretty much) an immeasurable lifespan since crews can replace small parts with ease.
  11. I would imagine it depends on the size of the structure they are removing. But as far as something the size of Vortex, I would say yes. When they were demolishing Son of Beast, they didnt take the whole structure down at once; They removed it section by section for safety reasons and to make the cleanup of the debris easier. Taking out Vortex in one go would be a massive undertaking and it would be a difficult mess to clean up. So this is a more effective way of doing it.
  12. Less than 2 weeks to vote for the name of my custom Arrow Looper! So far, Backlash is in first followed Viper and then by a tie between Vortex and The Ripper with The WIld One being last. BE SURE TO VOTE!!!
  13. @Waltny Closely examining your photo, you can see there are cables attached to the next section for removal. And if you don't mind me asking, would you happen to have any videos of the demolition?
  14. I would imagine Vortex will be down this upcoming week.
  15. Why do I feel this would work? Like, Vortex's spot along with its look made it a photogenic coaster. This looks quite pleasing to me!
  16. I think losing that small bandstand behind the Coke Freestyle (BUT NOT THE Coke FREESTYLE STAND ITSELF (lol @King Ding Dong))and building a path there could be an expansion opportunity for Oktoberfest. And as far as using the L.C.S land, I would imagine they would move the path a bit south towards Banshee's exit along the SOB station and in between The Bat and Banshee.
  17. Here is an idea: On April 11, everyone should make Vortex's logo their profile picture just for that day.
