I almost forgot about that! If you look at a satellite image, you can see the watering hole (present on the image above) and one of the (I believe this is what it was used for) animal sheds.

Whatever is added needs to have loops/corkscrews/inversions. Because now the only rides that go upside-down is Invertigo, Banshee, and FoF.

Yeah, I agree. But I was stating that publicity is probably another aspect as to why it's leaving.

I personally don't want to see Congo Falls go since its one of three water rides at Kings Island (excluding Soak City). But I will say that speculation of this kind is dangerous. If we just talk about how much we don't like The Bat, chances are it may go. Look at what happened to Vortex. I think another part of why Vortex is being removed is because it was having bad publicity as a ride. I won't go into much further details than this, but I really do believe that speculation of this kind is really dangerous. Going along with what @Oldschool75 and @IndyGuy4KI said, we should be focusing on what we have now and saying goodbye to what is leaving than just discussing what is going to be removed next.

Any new pictures of whats left of Vortex?

I personally think the land is better used to add/expand Coney and Rivertown OR some sort of flat ride(s) and a roller coaster similar to Vortex. Im not asking for an exact replica of Vortex, just something of its style. Loops and corksrews. Now that Vortex is (pretty much) gone, the only inverting coasters in the park are Invertigo, Banshee, and FoF. Something with a classic coaster look with loops (and an original layout) would be an amazing fit for that area. Please note that I am not saying that an RMC shouldn't come to Kings Island. I know that at some point or another, the park will get an RMC. Just I don't think an RMC is what should be stuck in Vortex's old spot. Two areas I deem fitting for an RMC would be Area 72 and Oktoberfest. Oktoberfest hasn't gotten a ride since (I believe) Sling Shot in 2002 or A.E. since 1991. And if Kings Island wants to get on the Area 72 train with some steam in it, I would imagine and RMC would fit nicely on the other side of Orion.

Best way I can explain it is they are kinda like the systems on Flying Ace Areial Chase's lift hill, only they are used in the station/ before the lift hill/ transfer track area(s).

I come from the future. Cedar Fair will purchase Kings Island and WinterFest will return in 2017. Because of the innovations in technology, it will have over 5 million lights and the Eiffel Tower WILL be a giant tree again. And the event will cover most of the park.

Ya know, I kinda want to see this happen. Not gonna lie...

You could probably build a shell similar to the Arrow ones...
