Earlier today they said it's the first 40 trains after the park opens at 10:00. I'll probably get in line around 10:00 or so.

They told me on Twitter that t-shirts will not be given out during ERT tomorrow.

It was fun! Probably the coldest ride I’ve ever taken on The Beast but it was worth it.

I’m in line for it right now!

Update: I’m here, I’m wearing a hoodie and jeans and wish I would’ve brought a rain jacket, I’m soaked.

Rozzi's also puts on an awesome show at Land of Illusion in Middletown for their (Halloween season) opening night!

They definitely had a different sound from last year.

Me too, they only usually do them early if there's going to be inclement weather.

I live close enough to the park to hear the nightly fireworks and just heard them going off but the park wasn't open today. Anyone know why they did them tonight?

I'd be fine with them getting rid of all alcohol in the park, really. I've been assaulted by so many drunk people during Haunt while I'm just trying to do my job and act.

I went last year. There was no line whatsoever for The Beast, I got so many night rides in. Mystic was the same (I think it was one of the options for the night?). Backlot stunt coaster was down all night. The park was quiet, if you want to experience a park after it closes this is the way to do it. I’m probably going to go again this year.

I just hope they get new tables if they do have tables there. The old ones weren't in very pristine condition, to say the least.

I have a couple of stories from my time in KillMart. My first story is one of the scares that sticks out in my mind. I was in the clothing department area in KillMart in 2016. For those of you who don't know, the clothing department is the second room in the attraction, right after the area with the checkout lines and shopping carts. I was pretending to be a statue that night. I was posed in a way that it looked like I was supposed to be pushing a shopping cart. One group came by, a group of girls. I was watching them approach and could tell they were scared and skeptical as to if I was an actor or a statue. One of them went ahead of the group to get a closer look at me and when she was right near my face, I slammed the shopping cart so it made a loud crash and growled at her. She screamed one of the loudest screams I've heard anyone give and totally bolted, straight into a brick wall. I tried to ask her if she was okay but as soon as she saw me approach her (Out of character of course, I wanted to make sure she didn't need first aid.), she ran again and kept getting scared by the other actors as she ran. I could hear her screaming the whole time she was in the attraction. I don't remember how the rest of the group reacted, they probably laughed since that's what people tend to do when their friend gets scared and runs. My second story is a short one. I was in the first room of the attraction, it was about 10:00 or so on a saturday so our line was pretty long. I believe it was about an hour or more. I was scaring people when I noticed two girls that looked confused as they entered the building, so I scared them and their reaction was "WAIT THIS IS A HAUNTED HOUSE?!", and then they ran back out of the entrance. They waited an hour in a line for a haunted attraction without realizing it. I have no idea how they managed to do that.

I've got some pretty great stories from Haunt that I can talk about. Would anyone be interested in that?

I imagine that probably smelled like mildew for a while?

I keep seeing all of this talk about the killmart building being re-purposed, is KillMart going away? I'll be pretty sad if it does, it was the first maze I acted in. I just feel like I'm missing something with all of this discussion about it that I keep seeing over various threads...

I was just thinking about that the other day! Best corndog I've ever had was at a haunted attraction trade show, strangely enough.

I had one last night, not a very long or particularly interesting one but I figured I'd share. I was "selected" to go to Kings Island a week before opening day for some reason, I saw the new International Street and it looked the same as before and was disappointed because I expected more. Then I rode FOF but it was actually Adventure Express and it was brand new. I don't remember anything after that, it was kind of a dumb dream.

I don't like it because it's a huge building that's taking up tons of space. It just feels like a waste since it's only used for the maze contained in it during Halloween Haunt.

I really wish they'd relocate Madame Fatale's Cavern of Terror somewhere else like they did with Slaughterhouse in 2014, then they could tear down the tomb raider building.

That was on the other side of the building. (Where the other set of chairs are on the map.) I don't think there was anything other than tables in that spot before, so they corrected it for this year by putting the tables there instead. They probably want it to be a surprise for when it opens. You'll either have to go on opening day or wait for pictures.

From what I've seen and heard about Wasteland, it's not all that great. The houses and other scare zones seem to be much scarier. Wasteland feels like it could be so much more than it currently is. One improvement I can think of would be to add some animated props.

There's places you wouldn't really think of as shelters that can be used as shelters. Example: When I worked in KillMart, if I remember correctly (It's been a few years) the tornado safety area for that was the walk in freezer for Jukebox Diner.
