Kings Island theater, Peanuts Showplace, Boo Blasters if you really must and go get dinner indoors. I recommend Snowday Buffet or Skyline. Also the weather this week is looking to be a bit mild for this time of year. 50's during the day. I sure do miss not having the Flight of Cheer as an option to go get warmed up.

I thought Cedar Fair used to repaint coasters every 10 years. If so then Diamondback is overdue. Maybe it's just Cedar Point.

Looks like the New Year's Eve Lounge is sorta back. This time it's open to anyone with $40-50. Looks like 50 without a passholder discount, 40 with and another price for kids. It also says meal only. It does not say how long the meal lasts or what time on New Year's Eve. I would not want to spend my whole night up there. It doesn't say if you lose out or forfeit part of the experience if I left to do something else. Price is too high anyways for my taste. Still gonna go if it doesn't rain.

Don't you hate it when somebody does not read the question and just simply answers with a yes. Its an either or question in which a simple yes is no good. Because answering yes means both he can renew and also pay more and be a new passholder.

I'm only 111 miles and about an hour 45 minute drive. 90 minutes if I push it and make really good time. So its easier to drive down and come home the same night. Takes me about an hour more to get to Cedar Point and about 3 hours to Kennywood.

Don't expand Planet Snoopy. Paramount did that once already at the expense of Rivertown. Planet Snoopy is big enough.

How tall a coaster is has nothing to do with how noisy it is. Its mainly people screaming and the chain lifts.

I know someone here said Mystic did not run last night Sunday but there I just saw a video on Facebook of people riding it in the snow.

Cold and light snow won't close the park. Mystic needs temperatures to be above freezing to start it up then if it drops below freezing it can continue to run.

I remember the Cedar Point laser show and I never liked it. Fireworks are much better.

Funny thing about noise. If I stay at the Super 8 I get really bad freeway noise if they put me in a room on the left side. Do I complain? No. I know what I'm getting when I stay there and there is good reason that place is only $50 a night.

And just like that we have the real reason King's Island only did one passholder ERT ride night this year 2019 and it was the Holiwood Nights Friday in May. So many people did not get to go. I guess that also explains why it was in Action Zone. Which in my opinion only has one amazing ride Banshee.

Nothing shut down early for Coasterstock this year. I was there both nights. Beast even ran until 12:30am.

Looks Iike it might rain Friday night and no I don't plan on visiting again until Ugly Sweater day. Edit was gonna go Ugly sweater day for a free "sweater" but the wording on King's Island site was really misleading. I'm glad they finally posted a pic. I thought the first 3000 people were going to get an Ugly Christmas sweater with a Coke bottle pictured on it. But its actually a sweater for a soda bottle. So I might go Wed if its warm enough for Mystic to run.

It used to be orange and dark blue but then the Sun and 16+ years since a complete paint job happened.

I earned 15% off food but I sure do not know how to use it. I thought it would either automatically come off when using a pass or maybe the cashier would ask me to redeem it but neither happened tonight.

I was there tonight too and it was packed like Sardines. Probably due to being the first nice Sat we have had for Winterfest. Mystic was running really well and my first ride and my last were back row right side. Got 2 rides in first thing at opening and my last 2 rides were the end of the night. My Last ride ended at 10:03PM . Not sure how many trains went out after. Likely not many. I did not run into anybody I know but then again I don't really know anybody here in person either. I went to Snow Day Buffet at 4:30pm and was really impressed. Much better than last time. Ham was strangely missing from the menu but there was Roast beef, Pork and turkey. Food was hot and the buffet was full. Had all 3 kinds of meat, mac and cheese rolls and the salad. I was really happy to find hot chocolate. It either wasn't there last time or wasn't marked as such. Cookies on the other hand are now on small plates. So you can't pick and choose like you could before. I did Snow Works once and the line was long but moved quick. Rode Boo Blasters to get out of the cold and my blasters were broken. Watched the show in the Kings Island theater and I watched What the Dickens. Couldn't show laughing during that show. I had a really fun night and I plan on going back for Ugly Sweater night and New Years Eve if it doesn't rain.
