  1. Sometimes the best part of interpreting is letting the cat get your tongue... Origins....'17. The Great Reveal is coming. Soon. Not necessarily to a theater near you...
  2. I'm surprised it hasn't been carted off to Ohio's Wildwater Kingdom to be sold...
  3. Son of Beast station. The Crypt Box. Kil-Mart The Motion Theaters The Née Paramount Story Area (flipped stoned and all) Yeah. I guess I do see Der Point.
  4. And have them stand at the back of the line, wait their turn and get randomly served what's next. Deduct the price, at full retail, from their pay. Maybe even bring in managers from other parks as mystery shoppers.
  5. Ask? More like make it a condition of sale. That's how Cedar Fair ended up with WindSeekers. Seems the other company made a premature announcement. Contract cancelled. Oopsie.
  6. More and more I am reminded of the Kinzelism: 'People gotta eat.' Yep. But not necessarily at the park.
  7. That too... Terp, being far more helpful than it may appear.
  8. Actually Origin means where one or a thing is from. It needn't be a country--or even a place. See also Origins.
  9. And, it gets served either way. Sigh.
  10. Origins is a show in The Kings Island Theater. Terp. Helping?
  11. I've never had a turkey leg in a park that wasn't old, dried out and not worth the money. Does Kings Island even have them this year?
  12. Early. I've things to do. And colloquys to prep for. Or a different path to contemplate. Else I'd have made the trip to Sandusky. It's certainly going to be a washout here tomorrow...
  13. The proposed Joint Reorganization Plan has been filed. It proposes, among other things, that the park begin paying off its non-tax debt at the end of April of next year, in $30,000 quarterly installments, at six percent interest. This from a park that has lost more than a million dollars since December 2014. In the event it misses a payment, the Hotel Conneaut could be sold. The tax debt is to be paid by land sales (and any Beach Club insurance proceeds the park can get its hands on). If the land sales are insufficient for this purpose...the Hotel Conneaut could be sold. This plan, if approved by the Court, in my opinion, leaves the park insufficiently capitalized and only delays the eventual liquidation of the park. It seems to greatly prefer the tax creditors to the non-tax secured creditors, but that's pretty much reality anyway. Next? An opportunity for objections to be raised, potentially a hearing, and an end. But what end? Oh, yeah, the plan proposed the park be able to borrow $25,000 more to be able to open this year. Yes, the plan proposed yesterday. Yes, the park opened last weekend. Yes, my head hurts.
  14. Maybe the rides miss Goble.
  15. Yet, weeks ago we were told the park was watching this and modifications would be made. Have they not seen enough yet?
  16. Today is the deadline by which the two sides are to file their Joint Reorganization Plan. Provided the Judge has not yet again extended it. Then there would normally be a period for objections, a hearing and a decision. Perhaps the end is near. But what end? Stay tuned...
  17. And let us know how things go. We care. There are a lot more important things in life than coasters. And being here is essential to them all.
  18. First, before doing anything else, seek medical attention. Something could be causing this, and it may be a warning sign. Hopefully, it's easily fixed.
  19. To ensure compliance with zoning and building codes, and to allow assessment for real property tax.
  20. I have several of those. Terp, leaving that right there (and a reality specialist, too). Always tell the truth...
