Whither Conneaut Lake Park Now?
The Interpreter replied to The Interpreter's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
The chances are excellent that a reorganization plan will be approved. It's how undercapitalized the park will be, how much real estate it's likely to lose, the competence (or lack thereof) of its managers and employees, the condition of the physical plant and the goodwill (or lack thereof) the park has built up over many years that concern me. Judges have performance standards, too. Average age of cases on the docket is one of the metrics. I'm sure the court system would rather be seen as not in charge of finances when this park fails. -
And, Welcome to KIC!

And no one is trying to hide anything from Selective. Food Service has changed so utterly and so dramatically that the only way to fully experience it is to go see for yourself. Better yet, go work there and help improve it. Long expounding on how things are, when they aren't that way at all and haven't been for years, isn't very useful. Terp, Kings Island patron since opening day, 1972, and Coney Island of Ohio before that.

And great frozen custard right beside it...

Except the CP "pizza." Five years ago, Chuckwagon had great pizza....

Whither Conneaut Lake Park Now?

In the first town where I had a big boy job, the hardware store DID sell produce! And you could get your French poodle washed in the same house as the French restaurant. True that. -
Perhaps you should go to Guest Services and file a compliment about him.

That discussion is beyond the bounds of here, but I can assure you the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is far, far broader than you are characterizing it. Perhaps you should have consulted a lawyer who practices in that area who could represent you. The Government typically does not provide counsel for civil litigants.

Yes. Cedar Point attendance is way up. Six Flags even more. Kings Island is up a little. See, for what it's worth: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php/topic/32047-2015-teaaecom-global-attractions-attendance-report/ Cedar Fair still owns Kings Island. The Directors of Food Service have changed, both at Cedar Fair and Kings Island. Policies have changed. Procedures have changed. Service levels have changed. Staffing levels and methods have changed. Methods of pricing have changed.

Also, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, a Federal law, forbids discrimination on account of gender. It applies to every state, DC, US territories and possessions. Not just California.

^ Yep. A trip report from opening day from a man who loves Conneaut Lake Park: http://clpjunction.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=706&sid=43685a3717937b6dd44aaf7edfb6af4e Sigh. -
No, it isn't. I was last at the park last month. I saw many families on International Street, eating whole pizzas. Straight from the cardboard boxes. Again, you haven't been at the park for years. Things have changed.
-
Put another way, there is no Federal, State or local law requiring anything such as you suggested nor offering any lawsuit immunity for disclosing food contents applying to Kings Island. Thank you.
-
"All you can eat." That can be read at least two ways. I've been many places my head wouldn't let me eat at all...
-
There is no sausage option. Hasn't been for several years. And no sense of urgency. Meal plans. Full Season Souvenir Bottles. The food service you knew is long since gone.

I am unaware of that law. Can you please cite me to it? And anyone can be sued for anything at any time for any reason or no reason...
