  1. Said company is currently trying to get the permits to open two locations in Northwest Washington, DC--one in Tenleytown, the other in Van Ness. They are encountering zealous opposition--supposedly because of traffic and our kids shouldn't eat fast food issues. The American University students are fighting them tooth and nail.
  2. According to the earlier post, Chick-FIL-A was not amused by the meal plans...
  3. I really wish Kenny wouldn't have milled old Garfield. That cat's scarified enough in West Miflin already.
  4. And for the sixteenth time, that stand on International Street did NOT sell elephant ears in 2015.
  5. Weren't they also sold at the funnel cake stand on IS? Nope. Terp, helping.
  6. Duck? Maybe. Bracing for collision typically intensifies injuries. This is why drunks often survive wrecks that others do not. They don't see it coming.
  7. Nope. He's North American sales rep for Zierer, among other things.... http://www.zierer.com/en/mainmenu/contact-us/representatives/ Craig Ross is President of The Dollywood Company and General Manager at Dollywood.
  8. There were no elephant ears on International Street in 2015. Main Street is at Brand D. Dream Street is at NJFTP.
  9. Cedar Fair doesn't have and never had Fast Pass. That's Disney. Fast Lane is Cedar Fair. It's available for purchase by the day--not the season.
  10. Foreclosure sale pending: http://www.wtvq.com/2016/01/10/judge-orders-former-amusement-park-sold-at-auction/
  11. ...food service...rumblings.... ...signal lost.
  12. You obviously didn't have my parents. Terp--who went to two of his college graduations only because of his parents—and doesn't regret it one little bit. They would have been so disappointed (and I was SOOO bored--especially at my UK undergrad one...loooooong and as exciting as watching other people bowl--almost.)
  13. A Fast Pass system that requires extensive planning, knowledge, finesse and guest action to use is one that, eventually, will actually hurt the Disney parks. People go to parks to relax and have fun--not to schedule their days like a grad student schedules classes.
  14. And many of those who go Friday not realizing Soak City doesn't open until the next day will be in the dry park.
  15. I thought they'd be quick as a Flash! Terp, running for the gate.
  16. Partly. Some of their pages STILL require it.
  17. Well that last is good news. Ending Flash and throwing out Accesso next?
  18. The Timberliners on Voyage have been such a smashing success. I'm quite sure that was one of many reasons The Gravity Group is doing the Legend modifications. Do what? Really.
  19. ...and, if you move to Maine or kick the bucket, the park will already have your money. Processing charge?
  20. In my opinion, weather being equal, Memorial Day will be far less busy than the preceding Friday. Out of towners will be driving home, many will avoid the park that Monday as they suspect it will be packed, the park will be better staffed....
