They are requiring everyone to have a new picture for next year, since some people may still be using pictures from around 2007, so you must choose one of those options. Also, does anyone know the process for getting a new card for someone who renewed from a Gold Pass to a Platinum Pass. IE can they get their platinum card this year and be able to use it for the remainder of the 2016 season (renewal) with the understanding that the platinum benefits do not work until 2017?

IIRC 2000 and prior the height requirement was something less than 44", it was changed to 44" in 2001, and now is 48".

Can anyone confirm is Panda Express or Chick-fil-a still participates in the dining plan. It is no longer listed on Kings Island's website as such. Edit - it is still listed if you navigate through dining plans, but not if you click on the all dining locations.

The "No Boo" Necklaces are now $12, last Friday they were being sold for $10. Also ironically the Everything $10 and under store near The Racer is selling the necklaces for $12, the worker said they have received a lot of complaints regarding this. It is also made clear that the No Boo necklaces are not good in the mazes and must be turned off.

There is now a Tom and Chee and King's Island located near Diamondback in the old Hot Dog Stand/ Snake Pit Location. I spoke with the worker, and he said it is a test for the rest of the season to see if they want to continue next year. He also confirmed that the dining plan will be valid there starting tomorrow (Saturday October 1st) once they get it loaded into the system. They were still in the process of setting the stand up, as they only began at 4 PM today.

Write down the bar code number. I believe guest relations may be able to deactivate it if it is stolen, at least preventing those who stole it form using it. On a side note I had my Six Flags Season long drink cup stolen from Magic Mountain last month. Six Flags does not use bar codes like Cedar Fair does.

One other issue could be Winterfest validity.

Platinum renewal and dining plan is $297.50 USD/ CAD. If buying through Canada's Wonderland the exchange of $297.50 CAD is currently $230.06 USD, definitely thinking abut it.

There also is a small tunnel under Tomb Raider that runs from the boiler room to the ride area.

When FoF was constructed the park KI had 4 trains delivered. The park never did operate the 4th train since the coaster opened. If I'm not mistaken FoF typically operates with only 2 trains anymore, they could cycle two trains through maintenance during Winterfest and 2 trains during the regular season. Unless you want to ride with a train with shoulder harnesses there is not 4 trains ( not even sure if this one still exist) They only have 3 trains with Lap Bars. Even when the trains did have shoulder harnesses and there was 4 trains, it never ran with 4, and after a few seasons for some (un)known reason it went down to only having 3 trains, which i believe was Trains 1, 2, and 4.

Wonder if the season dining pass will be valid during winterfest.

It seems like Cedar Fair is deferring a lot of off season maintenance. The park never had issues like this in the past. First it was Shake Rattle and Roll, then Monster, now it appears to be Zephyr.

During off season rehabs of Zephyr, the exit operator booth is removed, presumably to allow equipment in and out. That may be the reason for the dispatch button and telephone are missing.
