Diamondback’s support colors are really starting to get brighter! Can’t wait to see the finish!

I noticed that earlier this morning when I decided to watch for a while. They have been working since this morning in that spot. I didn’t realize that is how far Adventure port would stretch! Does anyone know what the white building behind Orion’s lift is for? I saw a lot of Trucks go down there earlier.

I am hoping that is what I think it is! Looks like part of the fence has been opened as well. If KI moves the webcams after this then I think they are up to something.

We new it would be a coaster but to see Cedar Point say it will be a coaster in 2024 is exciting!

If Zamperla ends up reimagining TTD and the ride is reliable I think Cedar Fair might start adding Zamperla launch coasters with lightning trains through out the chain.

I hope they give the trains some new paint as well. If they could figure out how to bring back the orange without well… you know what on the seats. That would be nice. Lol.

Glad they fixed it! Can’t wait to watch the Diamondback re paint on the webcams! I am very interested to see the color change that has been talked about!

The park just confirmed Diamondback getting painted this winter in a tweet asking how many gallons you think it will take to paint it. I know we already knew this but it is still exciting that the park said something about it.

Yes I agree! I would love to see a Mack multi-launch in The Vortex plot! I feel like we need something that guests can just sit and watch a coaster go by and say wow just watching it go by. I would really like to see Mack do a stall over the path way that leads to Rivertown from Coney Mall. Orion has the wave turn but it is hard to see it from the path. So an element of some kind like a stall that I mentioned that interacts with the guests and makes them say I want to go ride that one. Like the Hive Dive for Fury.

Does anyone know when the 2023 tickets go on sale for the Cedar Fair parks? Thanks.

My guess is they might change the support color to a color that doesn’t fade as much as the yellow did. I could be wrong though.

So Diamondback re paint is confirmed by the park?

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the zippers. The sweatshirts are probably my favorite of the month so far.

They look great! I really like the Orion and Mystic Timbers ones! I am interested to see how those zippers would feel.

Anyone else notice Diamondback’s lift hill lights are not on? It’s weird because Orion and Mystic’s lights are on. Could they be re painting or doing lift motor work?

One says Kings Island Banshee yet it shows Planet Snoopy lol. Otherwise they look good!

I got to say hats off to the Orion crew! Every time I asked to sit in the front they would always say yes and open it up just for me to sit there! So thank you Orion crew! Also they did an amazing job on operations this year. They were sending a train up the lift when the previous train was on the final banked hill!

I rode on purple train front row earlier this season and it was very shaky. I was bracing myself through every inversion. I did not expect it to be like that after my smooth rides in 2021. I rode it again a couple months later front row green train and it was surprisingly smooth. My rides earlier in the year were on a mostly empty train. My ride on green train a couple months later had a full train.

Would a KI cashless card work at other parks like Holiday world?
