This is very sad to see. Can Kings Island do anything about it?

I think I like Orion more than DB because there is a bit more unique elements on Orion plus you can’t beat sitting in the front flying at 90+ miles an hour and hearing nothing but the wind in your ears. I think Diamondback is quite a bit longer so for people that like longer rides they will prefer DB over Orion. Don’t get me wrong I can ride these two all day and never get tired, they are my personal two favorite at the park!

I agree, Diamondback has better Airtime but I prefer the Drop on Orion.

Is there a way that you could post a picture of the sign?

They could put on starting at Action Zone going over the path following it all the way to WindSeeker above the trees. It would give amazing views of the park and be relaxing for guests that don’t want Extreme thrills.

I need to check it out I haven’t been able to get on it this year, last year is it was smooth and I really enjoyed my rides on it. But I have heard is smooth as it should be, Maybe some trains aren’t as smooth as others.

Sorry to double post. So I did some research and some thinking about the symbol if it was related to Tomb Raider/Crypt, it doesn’t look like it is from Tomb Raider but It is very similar to inside the Tomb right before you get on the ride there is a symbol on the wall that looks similar to the one in the picture, I think it probably is some sort of decoration for Haunt, or something that they will use for upcoming attractions. It is very interesting.

I don’t remember that exact piece but I remember that symbol… it looks so familiar. I think it is from that ride let me do some research.

I agree I think it is Tomb Raider decorations from what I can recall.

Ok thanks one more question, you mentioned it prevents guests from sitting in seat belts but doesn’t Orion have the magnetic retraction on them so they retract after you un clip the buckle?

I was thinking about that too, but I don’t think for a while Cedar Fair won’t because as of right now Valleyfair is bringing in some good revenue, in the future if plans don’t work out I could see them selling it.

This summer they have had incredible operations on Orion it is insane how fast they send them out! Keep up the amazing work Orion team! Also I have a question, when you sit on the far two seats on Orion for front row they had to hold up the seat belts for you to sit and they don’t look like they have the magnetic retracting on them of what I can see.

I assume they want to go the safe route. I hope it has yellow track. It would fit the theme perfectly. KI hopefully will get a RMC Son of Beast someday please!

Does it say in the link that it will be a wood roller coaster? I am confused.

I have a few questions about going to the Timberwolf concerts. Do Gold pass members need to pay to go the concert? And also if you buy a daily ticket for the park that day do you get access to the concert?

I think if they have plans for a new Invert at Valleyfair then they won’t relocate it. What would be cool is if it went to Kings Dominion if they remove Anaconda and put Flight Deck there and it could still fly over the water like it did at CGA.

I absolutely agree, I have heard that Gold Striker will make it from a lot of other people but it is a terrain coaster I just don’t think they can relocate it.

I can’t confirm anything is coming to that plot of land, let alone KI, It is all speculation right now.

I Think that if they put a Mack Multi-launch like Copper head strike at Carowinds in The Vortex plot of land they could put the entrance at the end of Coney Mall and they could have a crowd draw to the end of Coney, I rarely see guests go down there. Also I have already said it but I would love a wild mouse at KI there is a lot of places it could go, and would fit nicely.
