  1. I guess "Tornadoland" wouldn't be a wise theming choice either. -Tb, carefully sipping his iced tea...
  2. Looking at all those steel beams, it looks like people would bump their heads a lot.
  3. My grandmother worked there. I always thought she had a glowing personality. -Tb, purple monkey dishwasher
  4. I've never blacked out on a ride. However, "Black Out" would make a great "Scorpions" themed coaster. Scorpions Blackout
  5. ^sigh...really. Doesn't she know that TTD is powered by Diet Coke and Mentos?
  6. ...that an Eye Doctor was going to open a store in the Kings Auto Mall area that was going to be called "Kings Eye Land".
  7. ^...or several? Delirium seems to me to be the same length as in pevious seasons.
  8. Anything on the Stratosphere Tower is scary. They could put the Grand Carousel up there and it would scare the hayall out of me.
  9. Some of my ideas, some also posted in the epic rumor coaster topic: 1. Mustang Valley 2. Rimrock Rampage 3. Rivertown Rampage 4. NightMare 5. Terrainosaurus Rox (my dumbest idea)
  10. ^I noticed the upside-down boat while feeding a goose some fish pellets. There was a nest with eggs under there back on 5-24. Have they put up the bell made of plantlife? When I was there last, there was just the wooden thing for hanging it (between GC and ET).
  11. Good old Kings Island! Will they be doing a similar thing with 70's uniforms, balloons, "tourists," etc., in front of Kings Island Theater? I thought that was the coolest thing when they did it for "Knievel Day".
  12. The first drop on Beast looks more intimidating than it really is, because the beautiful Little Miami Valley landscape beyond the coaster continues to slope away, making it feel higher. It really is more like going on a wild sled ride, because most of the coaster is terrain-following. The second lift goes into a double helix that feels like a giant version of a 'Himalaya' ride at a country fair...fun! Ride and enjoy!
  13. Go to Firehawk first, as the line to that ride gets long quickly. That way, you get an awesome experience with relatively little wait time, and then you can enjoy the rest.
  14. It reminds me of the Animaniacs, although that was Warner Bros.
  15. ^All I could find was an article on Count Bakula. Link Nothing on CNN.
  16. ^I can see what you mean... the wrist joint looks like a wheel, and the fingers look like multiple seat backs.
  17. Go straight to The Beast, get on, strap in, and have a blast! It's loud, fast and shaky (especially during the wild double helix...hang on!).
  18. I don't know how expensive they are, but I can think of many things that can be done with those giant LED boards (like at Times Square, NY, or that street in Vegas) to theme an indoor ride like the Crypt.
  19. You can easily share a Bacon-Cheese Fries from Potato Works among two adults.
  20. My first trip was on my third birthday, 1972. I was too young to remember which rides I went on. I was fascinated with the Eiffel Tower, and though it made a strange noise (later found out it was the train whistle ). Second trip ever was in 1977, and it was the Grand Carousel. First now is always BLSC.
