  1. ^LOL What, "Back Room Sock Dresser", "Lamp Tower", and "Closet1"? You know you're a KI addict if you pop in the old Paramount themes and dream of a day when CF will return nice music to International Street.
  2. ....and another Brady Bunch reunion!
  3. Give it to that one "Idol" contestant...
  4. After Vortex, my first flat is always SR&R.
  5. I'm going to Vortex: trying for another opening-day Zen ride.
  6. I joined December 16, 2004. This has been an awesome place to discuss Kings Island, and has been an amazing cure for the off-season blues! All the best! -Tb
  7. That would be one skinny coaster!
  8. Awesome. I notice in the brochure how much of the illustrations were pen drawings, reminiscent of the era, which left a lot up to the imagination. The Fotomat page is particularly interesting: who'd have ever imagined that 30 years later, people would be snapping pictures and videos with their computerized, microelectronic, hand-held telephones! (Paging Mr. Jetson! ) Being able to flip through the old booklets is priceless! Thanks, KIC!
  9. International Street. Thanks, Angryemobeaver. I'm looking more for like is it being built on the north or south side of the fountains, what store used to be there, stuff like that. Hard to tell from the picture. -Tb
  10. The Coney midway's looking like my dad's driveway: hope they resurface it soon... [edit] the midway~dad can resurface his own driveway Where is Cinnabon being built?
  11. Vortex. Gotta get loopy right off The Bat. Then Beast.
  12. ...and eating! Don't forget eating! Mmmmmmmmmmm PotatoWorks!
  13. ^Gordon really does a great job with documenting Americana/Lesourdsville. That shot of Eagle starting to be grown over is haunting.
  14. The bird's eye shots on Live seem to be from at least 2005 (Typhoon/IJST visible, but no Firehawk).
  15. Silk-scrim projection, like the Nemo submarine attraction at Disney...?
  16. ^Not to mention Taco Bell & Ruby Tuesday's.
  17. I'd love to see some of the Andean animals up close. I've never seen an alpaca (sp?), and I'd love my wife to be able to see one of those tiny deer (I don't remember the name of the species).
  18. I'd pretty up that ugly access road that's visible from Adventure Express with maybe some crushed marble on the sides. I'd also at least touch up the paint on the theming on the .... what are they calling the Train now?
  19. That Vortex picture is worth more than a thousand words! Nothing sad about it. Just a sleeping giant surrounded by the silent beauty of winter. Great shot! tB, waxing a little too poetic...
  20. ^Or another awesome hotel, with a monorail to/from the park...
  21. Thanks, Interpreter. I'd been calling it "Left Track" and "Right Track". Racer North and Racer South sound a lot better. Thrill Biscuit, throwing his mortar board in the air...
  22. Happy 100th^ Well, as long as they aren't really taking Swan Lake out, I won't be too disappointed...
  23. Doesn't The backward Racer predate Paramount? [edit] ^^^Whoa! Three posts before I can get one sentence out? It's on!
  24. !gnaD .sdrawkcab recaR edir ot tog reven I
  25. Thank you for posting that, sam2cpa. This will settle a lot of my own curiosity about KI, and probably many others'. -EL
