I didn't know about the quiz/test - I just thought of answer. The quiz/test said I was Hades. I still think I'm failry Odd, though!
-
SOB - I'm tall, wide, & rough. I sometimes upset peope, but most people like me - and I am respected! Other than that - ooops! I just thught of something....I'm not an SOB! Better make me Fairly Odd - yeah, that's the ticket!

I just LOVE how when you ask a question about some technical stuff, the discussion ALWAYS turns into opinions about liking or disliking the ride.

I would like to know if there are any other coasters with the wide track width like SOB has? Also, since the new trains were put on, has a speed test been conducted on SOB?

Great Wolf may lose Ohio resort

^ you need a course or two in proper English, Spelling & Grammar! Another Ohio water park bit the dust last week. There are too many of them to support the market. And face it, as long as you can still buy a Slip n Slide, it's a heck of a lot cheaper than a water park's fees. -
Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't the word be lair instead of layer?

Never! And I have come pretty close to beating the crap out of those who do! Being 300 pounds and 6' 4" I am rather intimidating, so they instantly "respect" me before I blow up. Good move on their parts!

It was nice to see that video again. I would have enjoyed a ride on that machne bck then - that first turn after the first drop without the banking - wowzers! And those skid brakes made it so smooth. Wht did they change the trains? I don't remember.

Swiss Based organization? B&M??? -
We are off topic, gang - and there are many threads about love/hate for The Beast and it's Son!

They should have the loop as a Halloween decoration too! Maybe have a witch circling round and round, cackling all the while!
-
At some point, someone's gonna say it - so it might as well be me...... If you all think you can do so much better than everyone else, go and start you own company and do it rather than prostalizing about it on a forum. If it weren't for mistakes, we'd have NOTHING!!!!

Though I never rode it, I understand Drachen Fire, another Mr. Toomer creation, had such bad transitions that no one would ride it (again and again) and it was sold for scrap after a few years of SBNO. http://www.rcdb.com/id112.htm But, my - what a beautiful machine, eh?

^ God bless you!

^ You're right. But, they do charge 4 star prices! I guess I just get fed up with what seems like constant mistakes no matter where you go - at age 50, I'm tired of it all.

I am an organist. When I play a wedding, I cannot goof up - would you expect the bride to start walking down the aisle a second time after I made a mistake and had to start the song over again? I don't think I'd be asked to play many more weddings - or anything else, for that matter. So, when I have to take my car back to the service dept. more than once for the same repair, I ask the manager if he has a daughter, and if so, can I play her wedding? Then, I explain that as she walks down the aisle, I will hit some wrong notes on the organ and ask her to go back and start again. He says, "That would be horrible". I say, "Then why didn't you fix my car the right way the first time? In my job, I don't get a second chance"! I am darn sick and tired of lowering my standards. Do the job right or get the hell out! That goes for EVERYBODY.

Is there not someone making new trains - suspended swing seats (floorless) - for these rides? That's all you would need to change the feeling, if that's what's so darn important to everyone. It seems, once again, that some of you people think that 15 or 20 million dollars for a coaster is nothing and it should just be "thrown out" like garbage because you think bigger is better or whatever ****amamy reasons you have. Yes, I can express my opinions too - and I just have!

Toy Story 4 - Buzz Lightyear & Shamu carve up Mr. Potato Head.

Marsha, Marsha, Marsha! I'd like to see Maureen, Eve and Florence - Alice can come, too - she can provide snacks! take - off lyrics to Fine Young Cannibals "She Drives Me Crazy": "They drive me Brady - ooh, ooh The whole darn bunch - ooh, ooh They drive me Brady And Alice just fixed them lunch - ooh, ooh"

Let's see how much the admission prices go up for 2009. I know, most of you don't give a flying f**k, but some of us live on fixed incomes - as you will some day - and a big rise in gate prices (as well as gasoline and lodging) could mean the difference between going or staying home, even if the new ride is what it claims to be.

Maybe it's a super Taco Bell?

Hey - let's get to the point!!!!! The absolute simplist way is to hire a chauffeur! But seriously, The I-75 North to Rt. 6 East is a very good choice. My only concern would be if we get a lot of rain and you'd have flooding problems along the way - then I would go I-75 North to 80/90 East and exit Rt. 4 (#110) It will cost you $2.

Yes, the park may strike back in 2009, but it was the PARK that removed King Cobra in the first place!

Possibly a non-thrill ride!
