^You know darn well Interpreter that people would ride it if they brought back the cart supervisor team from the 80's to market it and run it!

When did you start going to KI and where did you hear about KIC?
Gordon Bombay replied to Young Gunz's topic in Kings Island
I first went to the park in 1996 when I was 7 and took my first pictures of the park (which i still have in an album somewhere) with a free disposable camera that came with these industrial size jugs of ragu spaghetti sauce my mom used to buy. I still love KI, still love photography, but I absolutely hate spaghetti these days. I heard about KIC through a friend of mine while visiting the park in 04, he would later send me the link that night. When I went to the IJ construction tour in 05 I met Ryan, Dane, and Bill and thought they were the biggest jerks I had ever met, little did I know that just over a year and a half later I'd be filming commericals, and traveling to Geauga Lake in a burning automobile with them that summer and gain some very good friends. -
Permanent as in, we can walk past it and plainly say, "Hey, that looks like an entrance to a haunted house", in the middle of May? Permanent as in (as both myself and coastersRZ noted when we walked by on saturday evening) they are putting in a cement sidewalk to the building. The Asylum sign has been removed.

As Interpreter pointed out there is already another thread on here discussing the same subject so this one is going to be closed. Please remember to use the search function or take just a few minutes to browse the forums to make sure your topic hasn't already been started. Thanks!

Screamingnight, the answers to your questions can be answered amongst the various other topics about those subjects. From now on please use the search feature before starting a new topic. Firehawk will not be open nor will Son of Beast. Check the other topics about attendance fogures for information how crowded it may be.

^No it is not, but it is currently under construction. The jungle jims monorail does have a working transfer track though.

I'd say so! Do they realize that the webcam is automated and that they cant tell the speed of the train just froma few webcam pics? -
They sure do, and it was a pain getting that man to put them there.

In all honesty I've had more fun at the GWL park than at any of the other area waterparks. Although Surf Cincinnati in its current state is a neat place.

It's just not what it used to be:

Kings Island Prepares for its 2007 Season
Gordon Bombay replied to Dane's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
Actually they currently dont have "Red Racer" or "Blue Racer" painted on them, but the colors of the trains and the ride yes obviously do resemble those of the American Flag as well as the French Flag and Russian Flag, but this topic isn't about the flags of a nation(s). -
Thanks for the info Todd, depending on how the paychecks look friday, a trip may be in order.

11am to 6pm would be pretty good hours, if some of my friends are interested in pitching in for gas and helping drive i may be coming down. How are the food prices there? I hear terrible.

So tom, SFKK is open during the week? Excellent, thanks to the fact that im on spring break i may have to go for a visit and check it out for the first time.

First off if I was going to play an April Fools joke on you, i would've done it on April 1st aka April Fools Day. Hauntguy is a well known and credible member on this site whom knows myself and the staff, I'm pretty possitive he wouldn't go to such great lengths to try and pull a fast one on any of you. Relax, theres only two weeks left, you all just need to stop grabbing at eachothers throats and making accusations.

My scanner is currently at school so I can scan my negatives from when i shoot film, I'll ask my friend if he can scan the map for me when he gets back from his spring break trip to Florida, soon since hes the one who has it

Hmmm well lets see and read the topic, Elmer Fudd went there and found one, and Top Gun was hte only one who couldnt. They're there, but not at every kiosk area.

My friend and I were up at the Kings Island Inn and Conference center today to shoot the photographs of some of our friends who were putting on a play for some teachers in service lunchen there and when we were done we drove over to GWL to get lunch and look for the map, the first brochure rack didn't have them, it still had the general brochures (as did the mcdonalds off of kings mills) but the next rack we found did have the park maps.

What will Geaga Lake get?
Gordon Bombay replied to flightoffear499's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
For future refrence flightoffear499, please use the forums search feature before starting a topic of similar nature. It has been posted in numerous topics and numerous threads about what will be happening at GL in 07. Just to answer the question: Steel Venom, the monorail, and X flight have been/are being removed and the park will be receiving some new aesthetically pleasing features, picnic areas, and games to create a more family friendly atmosphere. No new rides this year.
