Minor issue, but up at the top of the page, if you click "+ Create" then choose "Topic", the list of forums you can select from shows forums that aren't even visible to me. I can't actually select them since I can't post in them but I would think this would at least limit it to things I could actually see.

My former coworker's brother (who I believe is the grandson of the guy who shot that Fessler footage) posted some of it to Facebook in 2017 and more to YouTube last year.

LKN Mini Golf in Cornelius is highly rated on both Yelp and TripAdvisor (under the name "Lake Norman Mini Golf"). It's about 30 minutes north of Charlotte according to Google.

Right now I'm planning to do two full days at both CW and KD, though that could change if I decide to throw a trip to BGW in there as well...

I actually did consider a trip out west next summer (SFStL, SDC and WoF) but decided a Carowinds/Kings Dominion trip would be more affordable, plus I've been wanting to hit those parks for a long time.

Looking forward to visiting Carowinds this summer (planning a Carowinds and KD trip in July, with a possible stop at BGW as well depending on time and finances)

Some kids do care. My oldest niece (who will be 3 in a few months) is obsessed with Snoopy. She's got several stuffed Snoopys and loves watching The Peanuts Movie, even though she's not old enough to understand most of it.

I've been several years now and it's a lot of fun. Definitely one to go to.

I for one am looking forward to riding those gliders again. I had great fun snapping them when they were at Kings Island.

I live about 10 minutes from where Chester Park was, and there's nothing left of it save for a street. The only real reference to it is the name of the Cincinnati Water Works complex that occupies part of the former Chester Park site (it's known as the Chester Park campus). What's so bad about it? I've only stayed at the one in Mason (a few times for KIC holiday events) and thought it was a great place. I'm sure it would be more enjoyable if you had kids, but it was still a fun experience.

Holiday World and Hersheypark still have them. I believe Knoebels does to some extent as well.

It's kind of hard to do a Halloween event when your park is themed to holidays. I don't think it has anything to do with location, as Knoebels does a Halloween event and they're even more "middle of nowhere" than Holiday World is.

Lots of changes coming to Holiday World next year... I might have to make a trip back to HP in the coming years to see this. This is going to drastically change the entrance to HP, but it's for the good considering what a major park they are at this point.
