  1. It's still on his Instagram account too. Why can't he just behave and do what the park asked him to? Also I find it hard to believe he didn't know he couldn't film on the ride. Every time I've been to KI this season multiple ride ops have made it clear that the use of electronic devices is prohibited on all rides.
  2. Apparently one of the brake fins struck the wheel causing it to fly off the ride. Nobody was injured from what I understand.
  3. I love the customizability of Android (widgets, icons, app launcher, etc.) and external storage among other things. I've never used an iPhone but I really don't have any desire to either.
  4. I'll go with Rougarou. You have to keep your head leaned forward to avoid getting headbanged.
  5. Unfortunately that Vimeo link doesn't work, but you can see it on their website (click the play button in the section about Wildwood Grove).
  6. I haven't made it down there yet but I agree that it looks like a great addition.
  7. Here's the full announcement video for those who missed it.
  8. According to https://www.timeanddate.com/weather/canada/vaughan/climate not much colder than here - average high is 34, average low is 22
  9. From FYECoasters on Facebook... For those wondering what Outpost 5 is, see here:
  10. Glad I got to ride it when I was up there a couple weeks ago. There aren't too many Enterprises left unfortunately.
  11. Yes. You can see a picture of the trains at http://coneyislandcentral.com/attractions-2/classic-rides/python/ to get a good idea of their size, though that doesn't show the current vinyl wrapping that was added this year.
  12. I'll likely be hitting up KK again at the end of the month. My sister and brother-in-law want to take advantage of the GOCC deal (two days for $34.99 with free drinks both days) so we're planning a family trip on the 30th and 31st.
  13. Had a great time at Coney on Saturday, spending a large amount of time in the pool due to the heat. For those who haven't been to Coney this season here are some other changes that I haven't seen mentioned here yet: The miners town play area was moved to the picnic area next to the pool entrance New playground equipment installed near the carousel New swings and some playground equipment installed near the dock where the miners town used to be New vinyl wrap on Python cars The new signs at the rides look great as well
  14. Glad you enjoyed Knoebels. Definitely not your typical park but the layout with the roads and such reminded me a bit of (New) Conneaut Lake Park (though CLP isn't nearly as big). Unfortunately the only time you'll get night rides on the woodies is during Phoenix Phall Phunfest as they otherwise apparently don't run their woodies after dark. I didn't get to ride Flyers last year as it was down when I was there (or at least when I wanted to ride it), so hopefully I'll get that in this year (along with Over The Top and the sky ride, both of which were also closed last year when I was there).
  15. Waterville USA in Gulf Shores, Alabama has announced that they're removing their Cannonball Run roller coaster at the end of this season: https://www.wkrg.com/news/baldwin-county/waterville-usa-to-remove-roller-coaster-at-end-of-season/1264545912
  16. The tweet and article from Local12 aren't there anymore. I wasn't referring to the original tweet.
  17. The long-vacant former KMart building across from the basically dead Cincinnati Mall (or whatever they're calling it these days) is finally seeing new life... https://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2018/06/21/family-entertainment-center-to-open-in-former.html
  18. Local12's tweet containing a link to that article has also mysteriously vanished. I wonder if the park asked them to take it down.
  19. 1.5 to 2 hours I could do. Still thinking FL+ might be a better option though.
  20. @Thrill_Biscuit reported on Facebook that the wait was nearly 4 hours when the park opened this morning. I'm still hoping to be able to ride it next month but I don't want to spend 4 hours waiting in line.
  21. The new Typhoon Twister water slide at Six Flags St Louis has closed after a rider somehow fell out of the tube... https://www.stltoday.com/news/local/metro/new-typhoon-twister-water-slide-at-six-flags-in-eureka/article_e871af80-26e2-54a7-bc02-91af1f9c34d1.html http://www.kmov.com/story/38496518/six-flags-new-ride-typhoon-twister-closed-due-to-ride-related-incident
  22. @silver2005 I wasn't aware of the hidden charges and there weren't any fire alarms going off while I was there. I do agree that the layout is quite odd though.
  23. My guess would be extra loading time. If someone does decide to sit in that row then you have to wait a short time while the guest adjusts the seatbelt to fit them. If that row is empty the next time around, it takes longer for the ride op to pull the belt tight again. I have always wondered why they even have belts on Timbers to begin with since they just tell you they have to be buckled but not tight.
  24. For what it's worth when I rode Beast on Monday they did say they would call security on you if they caught you with your phone out.
