If a patron of the park generally plans visits around the years new attraction then the lack of that new attraction may not warrant a trip to the park. The reason these parks add new attractions is to draw the crowds year after year. Despite what some people like to profess, there are very few people who go to Kings Island to partake in there dining options and take in the shows to think other wise is silly.

How you remember things from your youth is strikingly different from your adult life.... Who knows, maybe "Cedar Fair will return Kings Island its former 'glory' starting with some vine archway" Thats okay though, youre entitled to your opinion.... I do love me some paramount though... Certainly a better employer than Cedar Fair was

I for one, am so tired of having to sift through stupid comments about how terrible paramount parks were and how they were "cancerous". At times there are some interesting conversations here, but it seems more often than not I end up just closing the site thinking to myself "get a grip". Of course I do realize that 99% of the people making those comments are 13 years old, have not been employed by Paramount Parks and more importantly despite there own ego, really do not know how the senior management worked. ... my frustrated 2 cents.... (and i know my opinion is not alone)

... I do believe the park will get something in 2008... However, if i were to assume for a moment that we were not, it would be the first time in a great long while that a new attraction(s) has not been added. Im not sure how that would be marketed. "If you thought 2007 was great, 2008 will be just the same" . Maybe we'll get some new shows, although I cant really say any show at Kings Island this past summer was all that stellar, id much rather see "santas workshop" in the middle of july. But as i said, i do believe our additions have just not been mentioned yet, and im excited to see what new additions 2008 will bring. As a completely off topic comment - I find it virtually unfathomable that Kings Island Entertainment has not developed a "blast" type program. As a former performer for a similar producation at Tokyo Disneyland, these types of programs are totally different than the typical sing and dance revue. And, anyone that knows the Dayton/Cincinnati area is aware of what a gold mind southwestern ohio is for these types of performers.... Just a thought... http://www.blasttheshow.com/

If hypersonic is taken out, and dominator is put in... isnt dominator 'replacing' hypersonic as the parks ##'th coaster...

As im sure has been discussed, the GP may view the removal of Hypersonic in a less negative light if they are getting a 'new' ride, especially not just a one trick pony... So the fact you havent heard anything about the 'last three words' means virtually nothing... I personally wouldnt be all that stunned if Hypersonic made a quiet departure with dominators arrival...

Ever since i worked on Beast ive thought that the two clicks thing was bogus. If the restraint is going to fail, its going to fail regardless of one, two three four or five clicks. And yes interpreter, parks do have rules for reasons - however, as im sure you know, some are a complete joke. I HIGHLY doubt PTC mandated the "two click" rule...
