  1. What you can do... What you should do... What you may be permitted to do... What you may be able to do.... They're all different things.
  2. I suppose they didn’t want to make it Beastie again since there was always some confusion between that and Son of Beast. Honestly, I've never heard anyone confused between the two.
  3. And that is what is destined to cause a large backlash. We're already starting to see some of the issues with pushing small business owners either out of business or into costly litigation.
  4. It's going to reach a point that there is going to be such a backlash against the ADA that it's going to set people with disabilities back decades. I'm really surprised the advocates don't see that coming.
  5. I can't imagine the park would be ordering merchandise for next year.
  6. That's sad but the location in Carthage has never been a great location. It's always kinda surprised me that it's located there as that area had not been rural since I was a kid.
  7. A man and three children with a combined weight of 850-900? I can't see how they were injured. They should have had enough padding to avoid any injury. Heck, sounds like they could have used them as cushions for any other riders that may have fallen.
  8. I swear that people are getting more and more delicate by the day. Some of the stories I hear every day just amaze me. I wonder how some people even walk outside their houses they injure so easily.
  9. ...that you know about. Every park gets involved in lots of lawsuits...some public, some not so public. Some publicized, some not. Some justified, some frivolous. That's part of the business. Some are based on events that should have never happened, others clearly have no basis and should have never been filed. The vast majority of claims and suits never become public.
  10. Does the attorney advertise during Jerry Springer too?
  11. Actually, horses are considered to be livestock as they often provide farm labor. It's kinda unusual but chickens, ducks and turkey's are not normally considered to be livestock. (That reason I do not know why.) ..... WooferBear - the Good Country Bear That He is.
  12. WooferBear sitting at work wondering and why 20 hours is an accomplishment?
  13. They probably amuse themselves with the fact they got A's in apostrophe use! Besides, the old saying around law schools is A students make professors, B students make judges and C students make....money. Along the same lines, do you know what they call the person who graduated last in his or her class in medical school? Doctor. Or you just save the time and call his Malpractice Insurer.
  14. I see no problem with someone putting his money behind something that he is speaking about. In fact, I think that it even speak better of Pickens that an Oil man is monetarily supporting alternative energy.
  15. I really don't understand how attorney's like that can live with themselves. I guess it was not bad enough that most Personal Injury Attornies got C's in law school. The they have to advertise their ignorance!
  16. Who Knows? Maybe Dubai is going for a run at the Olympics?
  17. And (IMO) it could not happen to a nicer Regime/Government.
  18. Kinda Like Christopher Reeve's "Somewhere in Time." Somewhere In Time
  19. We absolutely agree on this one.
  20. But even if they do not ask for monetary payment, they do ask you to register. By using bugmenot.com, someone is bypassing the payment (all be it not monetary) that the website asks for.
  21. And that is what the evening is all about.
  22. Now when I was a manager at the park, I remember that the food cost of a souvenir cup worked out to be roughly 5 cents. (Not joking about that before anyone brings up a nickel comment.)
  23. And to me, actually doing that is worse than sharing a beverage with a friend or family member. A web site asks for a log on and some times a small fee for what is for all intents a creative product and/or art. This could be compared with someone allowing you to use their season pass to enter a park.
