  1. I actually can't think of any dance club I've been in that my shirt has been on for longer than 10 minutes.
  2. I actually forgot about the "lava pot"
  3. Well, I'd say that it appears most in Club Blood were overdressed for regular club wear.
  4. I don't think that anyone should take pleasure in these happenings. If the parks (all of the parks) do not do well, it does not bode well for anyone that is a park fan. I'd say that it's actually more crucial that parks putting in large capital expenditures (nudge, nudge) need to do everything to maximize their ability to get through this downturn.
  5. Yeah, I remember when Key West was absolutely great to vacation at. Now, it's like someone dropped Gatlinberg at the end of Florida.
  6. Hey, my gay uncle loves Ft. Lauderdale! Palm Springs and Ft Lauderdale is where old Gay Folk Go To Retire.
  7. Well, that and the fact that all the gays moved in and turned the area around. Now just have to keep the str8 folk out and the property values won't drop. <G>
  8. It always happens this way. The trouble makers are normally your "fine upstanding citizens" that gripe until they chase the tax base away. Sad, Sad, Sad.
  9. You are trailering the bike to Sturgis? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of riding the bike to a bike rally? Nah, I'm just kidding. Almost 3000 miles round trip would be exhausting on a bike. But imagine the nickels you would save on MPG! Oh I Love Saving Money On The Bike! Not Only Does Riding Keep Me Sane (Somewhat) it is also huge on gas savings!
  10. That's one long ride from Atlanta to Sturgis! I'd have one very sore bottom side doing that ride! Though I would Like To Do This One Year: Iron Butt Ride And if your mom is on a GoldWing - that's one step away from a darn RV! Lord, some folk don't have houses as nice as most GoldWings! They're not really a problem. You just have some folk that are just "busy bodies" and "control freaks." It's similar to folk that buy houses near airports and complain about the jets.
  11. Drat! I think that it was due to Daytona Trip Reports On The Site! Either That or Being Half Asleep! Myrtle Beach has always been problematic for the Bikers. There has always been a branch of the area that has not appreciated the bikers coming to the area. That's really nothing new. On A Side Note, one of these years I'm gonna trailer the bike and go to Sturgis The Daddy Rally of All Rallies!
  12. Well, I am a biker and it was bikers that were going to Daytona when NO ONE Else wanted to go the town. It was not that long ago that Daytona was the arm pit of Florida. If Daytona wants to bite the hand that fed it, more power to them. There are certainly many other towns that would be happy to host such large rally's.
  13. Probably since your face was covered. Now That Is Funny!
  14. What little bit of German theming remains.
  15. Yes, we all may know that Rivertown is not a Western Town. But does Cedar Fair know this? It's pretty evident that Paramount did not understand what a Rivertow was?
  16. And what accompanies lightning? Thunder! So it can be deduced that it's the return of Thunderbolt Express, aka The Demon Strikes Back! And The Crypt is now a holding area for the figures that will be placed in the station of the new coaster. But seriously, I'm thinking Mustang based on the Ride Sally Ride sign, but this could be specifically to throw us off because that name has been used on this site for quite a while. I like the snake idea, snakes have a reputation of being slippery which ties into another sign. Going with the snake theme, Rattler or Sidewinder. CF already has Sierra Sidewinder at Knott's, so they can easily start using that animal since they've worn out variations of "Hawk" at their parks (Firehawk, Nighthawk, Thunderhawk... hey, that brings us back to Thunder! ). But with a Sidewinder relatively close at Hersheypark, who knows? (I know, Terpy, someone knows but they ain't sayin!) "Oh, I wish I was a silly, slippery snake. Oh, I wish I was a silly, slippery snake. Oh I'd slither across the floor and I'd slip under the door Oh, I wish I was a silly, slippery snake." The thunder rolls And the lightnin' strikes Another love grows cold On a sleepless night As the storm blows on Out of control Deep in her heart The thunder rolls - Garth Brooks
  17. I love how the plans say "Office Copy, Do Not Remove" With that detail, we probably don't even need a press release. Unless it's the name?
  18. Hmmmm, any day I'm guessing CF will put that Press Release out on the Eifel Tower being built?
  19. Hmmmm, with so much of that information available so early...... It would seem...... That Those That Know ....... Do Talk. [Myth Busted]
  20. I don't even know where to begin. I would have put that Aron assumed rather than concluded. Based upon that blurb, nothing could have been concluded one way or another.
  21. I think there is still a good change the marketing dept. (whoever names it) has not narrowed it down to one yet. Yup, names do not need to be submitted.
  22. Wonder if this will push up the parks announcement. I'd guess that the park did not think that the info would be published so early.
  23. Well, we were just talking about permits today. Good on the Oxford press for breaking this. Actually some good investigative journalism.
  24. Ugh! I did not even realize it! <G> This site allows me quick breaks at work. Keeps me sane! <G> .... Somewhat.
