  1. I think that they may eventually wise up. I can't imagine that their goal is to spend so much money to drive the Budweiser name out of business.
  2. Will InBev get a clue? Busch Rally
  3. Certainly not at SFOG. Busch Europa is better than Busch Africa in that area. What is healthy at Panada? They don't even have a basic .... Moo Goo. I have yet to see a concentration on any healthy food at Universal.
  4. You certainly don't have to be a security guard to be able to handle a gun. Many, many, many people have gun skills..... and the protection of the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution.
  5. Which is part of the problem. I'm really surprised that parks have not caught onto the fact that many of their visitors are health conscious. Just cause I go to a park, does not mean I want to eat junk. That's one area that Disney has on many other parks. They are much more accommodating to special diets.
  6. "It's typical of Disney. They have no regard for the safety of their customers or their employees," Marion Hammer of the National Rifle Association said. Yeah, Disney is oh so careless about safety. Has this person ever been to a Disney park???? Now mind you, I support concealed carry laws, but I think that a property owner should have the right to restrict that access.
  7. overwhelmingly” high levels of salt, sugar, protein and fats, parents are being warned. Yeah! Right! I wish I could find high protein/low fat meals at most parks.
  8. He climbed up the girders from the 50' level. (possibly to get to the access stairs going up the remainding portion of the structure) That aside, you can see from the posts.... Bad, Bad, Bad Idea.
  9. I think that is the posters assumption. I'm certain that the campground in Pensacola is aware of their responsibilities.
  10. Be careful what you wish for. I bet anything there are numerous safety violations present in your room...and you could be found in violation of building codes. Do you have a building permit? Then again, you may not want to answer that.... And even more important...... If it looks too bad ...... The park may want to house internationals there. <G>
  11. Trashy? I didn't see anything in the plans or story that indicated that it was going to be themed trashy?
  12. Besides the issues already discussed, someone already tried to climb the tower without the aid of using the steps or elevator. It ended very poorly.
  13. OK So you have been presented evidence. You have actually seen plans and diagrams. And you are saying it's a rumor because the park has not confirmed it? I'm guessing that you also believe the Emperor is Wearing Clothes Because He Says He Is.
  14. Not sure if that classifies if a rumor if they even have the plans posted.
  15. Bad, Bad, Bad Idea.
  16. That actually seems like a pretty cool tour.
  17. Very Cool Pics of the Clown Band. Man, that Walenda has a face only a mother could love. <G>
  18. It's really depressing to see that news in Cincinnati has not changed. I remember when I left the city, the majority of every news cast revolved around city council and city race relations. I was astounded to find that newscasts in other cities actually focused on .... NEWS!
  19. It would not go anywhere as nothing that was shown was false or even in a false light. It's kind of like advertising high wire walks as record breaking. <G>
  20. I think it goes beyond sensationalism into the realm of irresponsibility. They take one person's incident and make it look like it's a typical experience. Why make consumers, especially in times like this, afraid to purchase when 99.999999% of companies make 99.999999% of their clients happy? They find that ONE guy and glorify his story. And I reiterate, this is nothing new. This is what the I Team has done for 20+ years.
  21. You're going to question it more? This is not the first I Team report and certainly not the first one that completely twisted towards sensationalism. WCPO has been doing I Reports for at least 20 years. This form of "journalism" is certainly nothing new.
  22. I just wish the park had taken the care to put 5 more fences up and the moat (without water as we'd have to warn of that as well) to prevent this loss.
  23. Congrats to Rick! The man is brave, you have to give him that. 112 feet up on a cable that's less than 1 inch thick, and the whole thing with no net! Now, I don't know how deep the fountain that he was walking over is, but I can guess that it'd still hurt quite a bit if he had fallen. Again, Congrats! It's about 3 or 4 feet deep. You can walk in it with waders on. That's how they used to put the fireworks up around the fountain.
  24. Maybe in alternate worlds?
