  1. I really liked the answers today. Pretty informative!

I am glad that they are looking into the fountains in Tower Gardens too! That was one thing I really didn't like seeing was all the drained and empty pools in what used to be one of the nicest sections of the park to relax in!

  2. I agree! I was fully expecting to dislike Planet Snoopy at the beginning of the offseason, when I first heard about the change. As we saw more and more updates from the park, my mind started changing. After Saturday, my mind was completely and totally made up. Planet Snoopy is WAY better than Nick Universe! It's bright and colorful. Kids loved it. Snoopy is adorable. Woodstock Express looks really really good with it's Blue Icecream Paint Job :P . The statues placed around the area are really cool and nice touches! Overall the kids area looks fantastic!

  3. Jackson a very nice through report. You seemed to have covered just about everything one could imagine, Although i did not see any of the show. I think it is funny how the gardens sign says it's a relaxing place, but in all your pictures I do not see any benches to sit. I don't like smoking and have good reasons to hate them but I do respect those who wish to exercise there right to smoke, so lets get some benches in there. Great Job again Jackson and thanks for taking the time to do this one.

There are benches there. Not tons on every path in Tower Gardens, but there are some in there!

  4. I noticed that, I was just being generic. No real dramatic differences, you know?

I thought you might have noticed it but I figured that it was a good opportunity to bring it up. Just incase other people didn't notice it, since it's pretty easy to miss since like you said there were no dramatic differences.

  5. If the pattern continues, then it will either be Action Zone, Oktoberfest, or Coney Mall. ( I would count International Street, but I don't really know what else they could add or spruce up, I-street always looks great!)

So we have about a 33% of it being Coney next!

  6. I think they look more fun the the EuroBungee. But a flat ride would be there nice too! B)

With the way that Cedar Fair's been running things lately, it seems like they make an addition to a section of the park, and spruce that entire section of the park up. Painting buildings, doing landscaping, adding pavers instead of asphalt. When they added Diamondback in Rivertown, they fixed up Rivertown, redid Rivertown Junction, added pavers, and really made the area look great. This season they redid Nick Universe into Planet Snoopy, they painted all the buildings, added pavers, added theming, and painted the rides giving the whole area a great facelift. Maybe next season, we will get a ride in Coney Mall, and they will fix up that entire area of the park. It really could use a face lift. Like you said, they could add a flat ride where EuroBobble is now, and it would bring new life to that area. T

  7. That sucks you're experience wasn't that good Nick.

It's weird, I actually heard quiet a few kids calling the characters by their names, and running up and giving the characters hugs. From what I saw, the kids loved Planet Snoopy. I was there for quiet a long time, checking out the new area. I saw tons of smiling happy children running around riding rides, talking to and hugging characters, getting their pictures taken. Saying they wanted to hug Snoopy...etc

  8. Great TR! I agree, the employees were VERY friendly this year! I didn't run into one rude employee that seemed angry about their job. All the employees this year were nice, all the ones we talked to told us to have a nice day, and they were all doing a great job.

  9. There were some minor changes to Boo Blasters On Boo Hill's exterior facade.

If you look at the picture of the facade when it was Scooby Doo, http://kiextreme.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/sdathc1.jpg you see all the little things on the front that say "GM" like on the gate, the logo on the window, the plaque above the entry door and stuff? Those were all changed to "BH" for Boo Hill. And in the stained glass window, there is now an evil looking ghost peering out that kind of blends in with the stained glass. It wasn't present when it was Scooby.

You can see these changes in the pictures from when Boddah went to Media Day. You can see all the "BH"s I mentioned, that used to say "GM" and if you zoom in on the photo, you can see the ghost in the stained glass window. It's in the main window above the door, in the bottom right corner of the window.

  10. Nice PTR Jackson! Looks like you had a blast!

However, you'd be wrong in saying that nothing changed on the outside of BBoBH. If you look at the picture of the facade when it was Scooby Doo, http://www.kiextreme.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-1825 Do you see all the little things on the front that say "GM" like on the gate, the logo on the window, the plaque above the entry door and stuff? Those were all changed to "BH" for Boo Hill. And in the stained glass window, there is now an evil looking ghost peering out that kind of blends in with the stained glass. It wasn't present when it was Scooby.

I forgot to take a picture of the ghost in the stained glass window, and of the GH on the gate, but my sister might have so I'll have to look through her pictures in a little bit and see if I can find one!

EDIT: Well I found this picture from when Boddah went to the media day. You can see all the "BH"s I mentioned, that used to say "GM" and if you zoom in on the photo, you can see the ghost in the stained glass window. It's in the main window above the door, in the bottom right corner of the window.

  11. Spongebob was open later in the day I think. We rode The Racer in the afternoon and SBSP3D had a line we could see from The Racer turnaround.

  12. Payed over 10 dollars to get a souvenir refill, and a Shrimp Basket Meal at Outer Hanks, which had shrimp and fries. The food sucked, and was not worth the money.

However we payed 10 dollars to get the Backyard BBQ for dinner, and it was great! I ate a hotdog, a roll, 4 pieces of chicken, a slice of watermelon, and like 4 refills of pop. It was well worth the money. The food was warm when they would first put some fresh stuff out, but then it got cold because of the freezing cold wind. But they kept putting fresh stuff out, so it wasn't a big deal. If it was a little warmer out, then this would be the perfect meal to eat at King s Island! It was 500 times better than Outer Hanks

  13. In no particular order:

    Diamondback-2

    The Beast-1

    Boo Blasters-3

    Woodstock Express-1

    Surf Dog-1

    KI&MVRR-1

The Crypt-1 (had to see if anything changed. It did not.)

    Racer-2

    Adventure Express-1

    Drop Tower-1

    Flight Deck-1

    Eiffel Tower-2

    We were there from 9am-10:20pm

  14. Adventure Express' final tunnel is really looking great this year. When we rode it EVERY single statue was pounding it's fists, and all the eye lights were working. The lights in the tunnel were working, so it wasn't pitch black in there. AND the pit of lava was lit up. It is a really big improvement over last year.
