Maybe they'll bring back SoB's loop. lol just kidding! I was curious though, how can they use the I-Street restaurant for "Breakfast with the characters" but they can't use it for a restaurant. I thought I read on here somewhere they couldn't use it because there is no elevator for handicapped people, so how can they use it for events like Breakfast with the characters? I think it would be awesome if they remodeled the whole inside to make it up to date looking and reopened it as a sit down restaurant.

I am so glad I live in Indiana! We also go 180 days though. Teachers have deadlines and requirements they must meet, as to what they must teach. So if they are making these deadlines on a 180 school year calendar, why does it need extended? I think lengthening the school year by 20 days wouldn't really help at all. As a current high school student, I can tell you that by around mid to end may, everyone just stops worrying so much about school. Since the weather is warmer, and Summer break is almost there people just shut out of "school mode" and go into "Summer Break mode"! So increasing the length of the school year would just make students even more anxious to have summer break! so the increasing of the school calender by almost a month would be completely pointless. *end rant*

Count me and Ashers in for this event! We didn't get a chance to make it to the KIC Off Season Blues Party. This event sounds AWESOME! Hopefully we'll be able to work in both days, but if we can't do all of both days, most likely we will do Saturday. But hopefully we can do both! This will be my first coaster enthusiast event, and I am looking forward to meeting people just as obsessed with Kings Island as me! I was wandering, Boddah, if you could send a text to the KIC Mobile Club as soon as more details come out, so I can register as soon as possible. There's no way I'm missing out on this event!

Well, a lot people who are registered on one site, are usually registered on the other too. So I don't think people really mind if something like this is posted, I mean we are all obsessed with the same thing, Kings Island!

Well before we discuss this, we should at least enjoy Diamondback first! Anyways, I would guess a family ride, or a small thrill ride. Maybe something on the Coney Mall Midway.

I don't have my license so if I could possibly convince my 17 year old cousin who currently doesn't have a job, to work there with me, then we could car-pool and split gas money! I would apply for Ride Operator I think. If you are a Ride Op. and it's your first year, you don't get to choose what ride you work do you?

I actually thought about applying for a job at Kings Island this summer, I have a few questions though... How do past or present employees enjoy working at the park (any position)? If you work at the park, do you still enjoy going to the park? What is the average pay for a new worker? Can you request days off, do you have a specific schedule, or do you have to be able to work any time of the week? Is it fun?

how many spots are left out of the 75? Hopefully Ashers and I will be able to attend! It will be awesome to see some KIC members, and the whole park in winter rehab! This will be both of our first Kings Island events!!

I was expecting the park to use the Rivertown Mining building/RBR as part of the line, much like Maverick... Does anyone know if the line will be themed with western type stuff? I hope they use the same line soundtrack for Diamondback that they do for Maverick!

Have you been in Tombstone this year? I though it was pretty good, it was my favorite maze. Sounds like you had a great trip! I really liked Trail of Terror, but I HATE how easy it is for people to cut in line! We had a huge group of freaks cut in front of us, it was like 7 people! They should at least have people or scareactors walking up and down the line scaring people AND making sure nobody cuts!

After this retracking, I can't wait to try out MS again. I didn't really enjoy it when I went this past summer ( I hated it to be honest ) So maybe this will make this coaster actually fun!

No, actually I never said that "i didn't like how people were bashing cemetary because it wasn't good." I SAID that I didn't like how people were bashing Cemetary last year, and saying it sucks. But when I do the same thing to Club Blood because I had a bad experience in it, suddenly I am WRONG for thinking that it wasn't good! everyone goes crazy and says it's intense! When I just didn't think so! I didn't mean to offend anyone working in that haunt, it just wasn't my idea of a scary maze. Sure some people might think it is scary, I was just saying that I didn't like it, and no matter what time I go through it, the MAZEwill not change and neither will the positions meant to be used, there will always probabaly be some guy eating poop out of a gross toilet and girls dancing in cages, and you can't really improve on that... MY point was that I don't see why everyone is so defensive about CLub Blood... I'll have to give it another try, but I just don't thin it will ever be scary or intense for me. Once again, I wasn't trying to offend anyone in the maze, I was just saying that I didn't like it! But now I'm done arguing over whether or not Club Blood is a good maze, and everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Sorry you didn't like it. Club Blood is primarily supposed to be on a different level then any other maze in the park. I know for a fact I've gotten a number of good scares in the bar where I am placed. So give us another shot and also consider the time of night you come into the haunt aswell as groups in front of you. Not all of us can reset quickly and have to adapt for groups getting bunched together. I'll have to give it another try, if there's no wait for it. When we went through on friday, 10/03/08, there was a 2 minute line just outside the door, so we didn't even have a group close to being infront of us! But maybe we just went through at a bad time! I just don't like how people were bashing Cemetary last year, when I had an awesome time in that one last year, because t was FILLEd with fog, and the scareactors were good in it last year, then when someone says anything about Club Blood, it's like a crime! Also no one seems to care when people bash Trail of Terror, or Tombstone, when those ARE the best two mazes the park has IMO! Then everyone gets all defensive about Club Blood! In my opinion the maze in general sucked, and wasn't worth my time, it wasn't necessarily the scareactors fault, it was just the maze in general. It wasn't scary, it wasn't confusing, it wasn't intense, the lights were too bright, and nobody jumped out. Does that sound like an intense good haunted house to you? Well, it wasn't for me!

I think they should retheme ClubBlood, maybe to a classic vampire theme instead of Dance Club Vampires Or maybe just come up with a new theme all together. And yes it was VERY bright throughout most of the maze on Friday, and according to Gnarkiller and Angrybeaver, it was no different for Saturday! Club Blood just isn't scary! Although some may call it "intense" I'd have to disagree with that also, it was very lame. I'd have to also agree with Ashers on the fact that you can't really improve on "Dancing in a cage" it just doesn't get any scarier no matter what time you go through it! I gve Club Blood 2 thumbs down!!!!

After just watching a video of Club Blood from last year, I noticed it was a lot darker throughout the maze. When we went through on 10/3/08 it was very bright throughout the maze, and we could see everything! Also they weren't playing the BLADE music in the maze.

Tombstone Terrortory 10/10! It was AWESOME this year! There was so much fog through the entire middle section, you couldn't even see! The scareactors were doing an excellent job this year! Numerous times throughout this maze, they would distract you, then something else would run out of the woods and scare the crap out of you! We were the last group to go in on our train, and we didn't catch up to the other groups in front of us at all! Definately my favorite maze this year! Cemetary Drive 7.5/10 A huge step up from last year! Carnevil 8/10 Always a fun maze! Trail of Terror 9.5/10 A funny, and scary maze!, especially the tunnel Club Blood 3/10 Not scary AT ALL! From watching videos from last year ( I didn't get a chance to go in last year) compared to this year, they actually took scenes out! Such as the hospital room and stuff! If you want a scary mae, don't go to Club Blood! CoRnStAlKeRs 4/10, we went through this maze at like 1:05am (I'm not sure how/why they even let us in, because there was no line, so we just walked straight up to the front, and they let us in at 1:05?...) They had already turned the fog machines off, so it wasn't foogy in it at ALL, and the scareactors weren't too great either.
