  4. Looks like they're bringing back the best show... ever... It looks like admission will be $19.99 for Friday night, and $25.99 for all day Saturday or Sunday. The HH web site links to an admission page and the dates match up with the days listed for 2008. http://www.visitkingsisland.com/Shop/shopping_events.cfm Ryan

  6. I wish we could make an exception to sell you an extra ticket, but that's simply not an option. I would do what you can to come to the event. There will be excitement around every corner... in addition to what's been posted. You'll really kick yourself for not going...
  7. The "Coming Attractions" section typically has its sub headline renamed to mention whatever new attraction is for the following year. It'll undoubtedly happen again.
  8. What do you think of the name Diamondback? Personally, I like the name more and more. I would have thought it was just a clean-cut or healthy name but I must admit that seeing the logo kind of pushes me over the edge to really liking it. I think the western theme will really work out well for it.
  9. From my understanding in order for it to be a true "hyper" it has to be made out of steel. From my understanding it has to be a steel coaster that is designed like a wooden coaster, and if its over 200 feet its technically a "mega" coaster. 300 feet means "giga" and 400 feet is "Tera". Don't quote me on thats just what I read. It also may be the lingo of the manufacturer. Notice that this ride is referred to as a "mega coaster" as opposed to a "hyper coaster." Then again, called something a mega coaster kind of insinuates what you're talking about rather than a hyper coaster which takes some explaining.
  10. Not even time's fault. The reason why the helix was flipped was so that it could fit the dimensions that Kings Island wanted.
  11. I got some of the best snaps of my life out of those flying scooters today. But yes, it was crowded.
  12. Park as you normally would. If you have a pass, it can get you into the lot. Otherwise, standard parking rates apply.

  16. You supplied the wrong link. That one wants a login. Times Sqaure is the best place in New York. When we went last year, I pulled some old favors from Viacom and got us tickets in the studio to TRL. We ended up putzing around and not making it by the casting call, so we just watched everyone stand out in the cold as we ate at the ESPN Zone. lol
  17. ...and you're right.
  18. In 1973, The Brady Bunch was one of the most popular shows on television. 19. The guy riding Firehawk is Evan "E-Man" Millward. You'll hear more about him on KIC Day.

  22. For those of you who purchased tickets, you're in for quite a treat. We'll have the finalized agenda posted shortly, and there were be even more surprises around each and every corner. Everyone who opted not to go will wish they had.
  23. It'd be nice to see employees enthusiastic enough to know when their rides were made and even who made them... just for the small instances that someone asks.
