Apparently this was this biggest one ever.

I remember that....

RT LaRosa's has calzones...

This is already being discussed here.

They cemented in the old entrance. That queue goes nowhere. Photo

We intend to have all sorts of video, but I don't know if the park will allow a POV as he had. But yes, it looked really lame. It doesn't seem to do justice to the ride itself.

Dude your starting to really p*ss me off scooby-doo is beloved by millions and like was said PKI or paramount wont get anything scary unless it's for fearfest.SDATCH is very popular among kids there is always a long line which goes quite I'd say it's one the most popular rides in HBL. I agree that Scooby is still really popular, but you have to admit, the ride itself is kind of poorly done.
-
Not necessarily. If you put it upside down, it would say there for about 2 or 3 seconds and then automatically return to the upright position. If you shook the joystick back and forth, it with just rock the pod a little bit but stay upside down. Actually pre-1991 you could stay upside down, after 1991 they added logic to the ride where it would automatically flip right side up after a few seconds. You sure? I'm pretty sure this went down after '91.

Great work! Looks really realistic!

Right now I think things are done in good taste. I mean, having John Nolan Ford sponsor the Tiques and having Gillette sponsor Top Gun pushes it a little, but I don't think that it has become a problem.... yet.

I loved the Maestro at the beginning. I remember how, when I was younger, that the character looked so realistic while it was turned around playing the organ that I couldn't figure out if it was a real person or not. You guys probably recall how it didn't just stand there facing the organ, but it used to shift its back and look back and forth... brilliant, just brilliant....
-
An Addams Family dark ride would definitely get my vote, the only problem is that I doubt the younger crowd has ever been exponsed to them.
-
Yeah, you could. Also, I think I told you guys the story about how I got my older sister to go on it when I was about 6 or so. She hadn't be on any type of inversion at the time, so being the good kid I was, I talked her into getting on the FC with me. I flipped thing upside down and shook the joystick back and forth so it would stay that way... scared the crap out of her, but after that she wasn't afraid of anything.

Although any dark ride we would get would be based off of a movie, I would really like to see a newer and revamped Phantom Theatre. In my humble opinion, PT was a great work of art and although SDATHC is a great interactive ride for kids, I think the price we paid for it was an atrocity.

The Flight Commander had two people sit in a pod. One of which would win the fight and get to control the joystick between them. If you move the joystick up or down, the arm would move accordingly, left or right would cause a barrel roll. It was a great ride... will be missed.

People will be less inclined to travel outside of the Cincinnati area for their summer vacations, so where do you think they'll go??
-
Nah, the movie was just like a lot of other Paramount movies. It was loaded with numerous brilliant action scenes but lacked any real character development or plot. The ending was really bad too.

5 or 6 hours for FoF here.... it was back in 96 when it opened. The line began at the Zephyr and they used the metal fencing to create several queues in the base area in addition to all of the queues being open. The ride broke down several times during the wait.

Where was this from? What does it mean? Rev. Chef That's all I can say because I don't want to say anything that I'm not sure about.

You guys should really appreciate the ads more than anything. We have kept them as minimal as possible, but if you guys had any clue as to how much we're projecting PKIC to cost to run this season, you'd flip. These do a minimal but helpful part in keeping PKIC free by giving everyone an Unlimited Pass without having to force a poorly designed t-shirt down your throat.
-
No, you're sitting on two different concepts... The gold pass upgrade is the special type of pass that you get with the perks like walk on weeks, double rides, ERTs, and things like that. You get the upgrade for free until about the 3rd week of May, so if you're going to buy a pass, I'd recommend going ahead and doing so because the perks are small, but definitely worth your time. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that if you have any type of daily ticket from the current day you can credit that towards a season pass. That really doesn't affect your gold pass upgrade.

Didn't you guys watch the original IJST launch video? A sound clip makes a cameo on it. Nice picture, that sure looks familiar. Glad to see people are still using my pics from PKI Unlimited. See? I told you guys that Tyson wasn't dead.

Lemony Snicket Star Arrives Another Hollywood sight hits Ohio later this month as Liam Aiken, who played Klaus Baudelaire in the blockbuster hit, Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events visits Paramount’s Kings Island. On Saturday, April 23rd Aiken will arrive at the park to visit and chat about his experience making the film during a VIP lunch with a series of radio and TV promotional winners. Immediately following, at 1:30pm, Liam will participate in an open forum at the Paramount Theater for a Question and Answer session with the public. Shortly thereafter, Aiken will also hang around at the Paramount Theater for a meet & greet and autograph session where park guests can get up close and personal with the star. Visit PKI Jobs page to learn how you can become part of our team! Roller Coasters Go To College As I make travel arrangements to attend our first college visit to Miami of Ohio in Oxford, OH with our 17 year old son, Brian, I am hit with the question, "since we will be so close to King's Island, can we ride some coasters while we're there?" This question causes me to reflect on our first visit to King's Island fourteen years ago when the Scooby Zoom was our son's favorite ride. I remember standing along the fence watching him with the same apprehension all parents feel when they let their children do an activity for the first time. Little did we know that this would be the start of many summers of first time coaster rides - the first time he wanted to ride the coaster without a grown-up; the first time he was tall enough to ride a bigger coaster; the first time he could ride an upside-down coaster; the list goes on and on. We have spent many summers traveling to amusement parks to ride this new coaster or that new coaster, but King's Island has remained a favorite in my son's eyes. Brian has a love for rollercoasters beyond the parks. Our computer has far too many 'build your own roller coaster/amusement park programs' installed on it. And, every physics project this year has had a coaster theme at its core. I can only hope that his passion for coasters continues through his college career as he is hoping to design and build coaster/thrill rides upon graduation from the college of his choice. Thank you King's Island for making our summers a blast and giving Brian direction for his future! Louise D. from Crown Point, IN will receive two tickets to Paramount's King's Island. Winners are randomly selected. Submit your entry!
