  2. It's kind of like the movie Blow. Johnny Depp is the hero of the movie, who is actually a criminal. I think it puts an interesting twist on the plots.
  3. I'd give School of Rock a shot... after seeing Magic of the Movies, what's the worst that could happen?
  4. I could be wrong, but I always thought it was: It's a perfect situation Everyday's a celebration
  5. It would probably be typical of Paramount to take out a scenic area of the park in favor of an industrial area.
  6. They had some of the special effects running last Friday the 25th around 8pm. I was training a class in PKIU and when i got out I could hear the police car sirens running I didn't go check it out cause I had to leave but I never heard any explosions or anything else. Rumor has it that they ran the helicopter too...
  7. Oh yeah, I forgot... I want a write-in vote for the Chippery.
  8. As a former employee of LaRosa's (not at the park), I can tell you to expect some to be popping up in your area before you know it. I like how like 4 of the selections on the list don't exist anymore.
  9. Where exactly was this located ? To try to answer all of your questions: It was located on the midway between HBL and RT. It was probably 50 or so feet long and was a great shaded area. A small portion of it is now located behind Migilla Gorilla's Grill. (Do I have that right?) Likely they removed it just for the sake of a facelift. Since PKI seems to like the layout they have and not really expand, things have to be removed in order to make way for new things... sounds like almost too simple of an answer, but it's very logical.
  10. Rumor has it that they'll begin testing it with people as early as opening day.
  11. I think the parade is great! I probably saw it as many times as some of the employees on here and it never really got old. They truely know how to put on quite a show that will make you walk away feeling like a million bucks.
  12. None... for all we know, it could have been a misprint and they meant F/O.
  13. I'd bet the world on you're 2006 prediction, but I have my doubts about the 07 expansion.
  14. To answer as many of your questions as possible: Yes, the trains were stored in the FoF drum. It was nearly impossible to see them without the maintainance lights being on in there, but it they more or less lined the outside of the drum. The reason why TOGO, or at least PKI's TOGO was a piece of crap was because it was the only TOGO owned by PP that used Japanese steel, which is of lesser quality than American steel. No other Paramount Parks have the same problems with their versions.
  15. For some of our best meeting days, we've had about 30 or so people there. I'm sure if we were able to offer something special and advertised it correctly we could pull of having enough people to rent out a shelter or justify having some sort of special tour.
  16. PKI's was sold to a park in Australia. Someone please elaborate on that...
  17. They're all pretty much right, Hablo. I mean, you're into parks, it's a park... you're pretty bound to have a good time regardless of the crappyness level. Probably my best memory of SFKK was when I went up there last year with DirtySteve. We went to this foot court there and got our food. When it was time to be rung out, this guy at the register asked if I had a Six Flags season pass because apparently they offer food discounts to passholders. Now, I wasn't try to start **** with the dense little Six Flags boy, but just jokingly, and partially to make conversation, I responded with, "I've got a Paramount season pass, what will that do for me?" He looked at me really confused and asked, "Is that the same thing as a Six Flags season pass?"
  18. Simon Cez and yes, it's terrible.
  19. Wild Thornberries is the best. Nothing beats bobsleding.
  20. I've never been to Holiday World, but I've also never heard anything bad about it. I'd say you're better of there or at CP.
  21. ^ This is possible, but it did operate for a while after the incident. I'm willing to say that it was removed because it had very low ridership after the accident.
  22. I think you said that you're from around here... well, if you're from the Cincy area, it's not too bad for a one time thing. At least you get to up your coaster count, but it's definitely not worth a drive for more than an hour or two.
  23. Hablo, seriously... remember when you were little and you first got the training wheels off of your bike and in your inexperience, you fell and scraped your knee into a bloody mess? Yeah, that was probably about 10x more fun than SFKK. Grease' Lighnin' isn't bad, but you can tell that it's so poorly maintained that you'll almost feel unsafe on it. T2 is just one big kick in the junk after another, and Chang really lacks personality. Note that if they do happen to be busy, the lines will take forever since they only run one train on everything. Other than that, have fun! lol
