To be honest with you, I highly doubt they want to retheme FoF. It's probably more of a question for other parks, as in that they want to make the same coaster as FoF, but don't want to theme it the same way.

I've got to take a back seat in telling you most of that information, but what I can tell you is to make sure you dress for success at the job fair. Also, be prepaired with your work and school history, SSN, etc. Be able to answer questions about yourself and about hypothetical situations.

The sad part is, it's not really old schoolers. -
Just to let you know, I was up at HR on Monday and I overheard one of the ladies there saying that they didn't have any 15 year old positions open too.

Well... since we're talking about the love of coasters....

Is that really true? I know of a lot of people who totally misunderstood the whole Walk on Weekends concept last year and tried to cut in front of everyone on all sorts of different rides. You'd think that the people who got upset about a single ride being doing would be the people who drove 345,455,344 miles and paid $42.99 for a ticket. Sadly, yes it is true. You do get the out of towners who are mad too, but season pass holders seem to think that b/c they are the "Gold Pass Holders", they are VIPs and should get everything and if one ride is down, they get soo upset. Most of the time, they are like "This ride is always down. Dont you guys know what you are doing?" or "Dont you know how to fix it." However, they say that about every ride that goes down, even if it hardly ever goes down. ha.... maybe their last visit was in 1996 when it did go down a lot... ever think of that?? lol

Although it is still a rumor, it has been hinted at a lot. I imagine a mid summer, probably August press release. They may announce it at the same time that they announce the new attraction. This is of course assuming that Winterfest is coming back and that there will be a new attraction next year....

I disagree with that -- I think that the park is right in thinking that thrill seekers are only a small fraction of the whole picture. I think that in the next 5-10 years you will see Paramount's version of Universal Studios... either that or they'll just forget about the whole thing and have a mixture of classic-style rides and movie-themed rides. Now, as far as Paramount dishing out more $$$ due to the fact that the park is doing so well is a definite plus. I never really thought about the parking area as being "ugly" but in comparision to what they'll likely do, that may be the way it was remembered. -
True, but there isn't really much you would have seen that the park supplied updates wouldn't have offered.

Likely case - I did notice that they were working in rows, a large planter would explain a lot. Also, Hablo's right, the place is a mess. If you guys are heading to HR, follow the cones and pay attention, I was misguided and almost ended up in a construction area. The funny thing is people where going all over the place after orientation on Monday. Some actually missed the target and ended up in the guest parking lot, looking for a way out. It was funny. What I did was, when I was heading towards the exit, right about where CDBB hits the dry park a bunch of cones are set up guiding traffic, but there's really only one line... I naturally following the one that lead you onto the road... wrong.

I guess they were right - there IS going to be a new tunnel!!!

For those of you who haven't been by the park in a couple of weeks, I noticed that they began tearing up large portions of the lot. I'm not sure how long this has been going on, but one can only assume that this is the start of the "Bush Gardens look" that Jeff discussed during the IJST tour.

Half of them are Andrew Lloyd Weber pieces.. some of the best that ever existed in my opinion.

lol... I can't help but love the debates we have on here. It's like a red alert when something is out of place for more than a second. Was anyone around on PKIU in the 2003 season when they built the Jacob's Ladder near AE and there was this big debate as to whether or not this was going to be the station to the new coaster for 2004?
-
I noticed that too. Drop Zone seems to be about 50ft in the air. There's not doubt that's for rehab reasons.

Anybody notice those peculiar boxes....

No, you can see the track. The Siebert Shipping thing was probably more of a joke than anything, I really wouldn't worry about it. As far as the helicopter scene goes, what you're thinking of is the movie scene (which they cut in and out of) where the helicopter is inside the warehouse/parking garage/whatever. The ride's always been designed to have the helicopter from what I understand. -
Gabriel has been so kind as to send us some more park photos while flying over PKI in his family's plane. There's nothing particularly interesting to report about the progress of the Italian Job Stunt Track but these are still some very beautiful and interesting photos of the park. Thanks Gabriel! Click here to see the photos! Regards, Ryan

I totally agree with you. Unfortunately, the park must progress into the future and unfortunately that does sometimes result in ride removal.

If you check out the pic, they have the pendulum up now. I agree that it'll be a tight sqeeze. Looks like it'll be a foot chopper with that building behind it.
